    My friend is selling a Chocolate Rocky Mountain 3 yr old mare w/flaxen mane and a tail that touches the ground.

    OMG - really!?  ... you are the devil!  Look at you tempting me [:D]  I'm not moving 'til the spring.  ... want a 3 yrs old 'til then?  hehehehe!!  You know a project to keep you busy, since you don't have one... or several [8D]

    Project? Oh did I forget to mention she is already trained. [:D]
    Spring? I thought I would have to keep her at least a year.
    If it was a gelding I would be thinking hard.

    So you don't want a mare?  Ideally my next horse will be a mare :o)  I found out shipping (flight) from Honolulu to LAX is $3000.  I decided for sure not to get Mystery. .... so that does leave room for a new 4-legged friend!  Fully trained at 3yrs old?  That seems a little young, how old was she when they started her?  You'd keep till the Spring? ... ACK!! WHAT AM I TALKING ABOUT!! Nevermind... I can't buy a horse in Texas, [sm=smack.gif][sm=blush.gif][sm=lol.gif][sm=smack.gif]
     
    Good looking out... and I have to know, how much is she asking?... any pictures? (STOP IT!)  [:D][:D]

    I know isn't she gorgeous?  I'm tellin' ya it's tough.  A beautiful, gaited horse?  Hey... maybe if I keep this tough-gal attitude up someone will pay me to take her? So far I have someone to "test drive" her, free board and someone to keep her fit.  Do I hear $20?  ... $20 bucks, anyone?

    Not only that, but I'll go to MK's and ride with her so that she can keep her in shape and MK doesn't get bored either!

    She is GORGEOUS!!!!!! (Totally unhelpful aren't I!)

    $20 bucks will buy you a weanling in OK according to gunslinger on the horse board. $65 for a 2 year old? $100 bucks will probably get you a hell of a horse if you want to drive a few hours and have hay to feed. [sm=uhoh.gif]

    Hill are you able to get hay over in SA? It is pretty bad over here already. I should be getting mine next week.

    I've been pouring over Equine.com, Horsetopia.com and Dreamhorse.com  ... i'm fully addicted and found *SO* many horses I want... so, little time, money and places to board!
     
    Speaking of, I have several places I'm gonna look at when i'm in Reno to board Stryder.  I think I may have finally found a winner, at least from what the place sounds like via phone.  It's only 15 min. from my parents home (where i'll be staying while I get myself grounded) and get this, it actually has GRASS!  .... that was almost all it took to sell me on it [:D]  Not many places have grass in Reno or the surrounding area.
     
    I feel like a bad mommy for taking Stryder over there.... I'm so afraid he won't acclimate and he'll be misserable and it'll be a huge mistake.  I also can't imagine leaving him here (selling him.)  [:o]  I'm not sure what to do.  Ugh.  Anyway, I'll take a look at some places and keep my fingers crossed.

    I had meant to ask, is there just no hay there MK?  ... or is it super expensive, bad shape...?   I hope something changes soon!
