How hot is it where you live?

Its 97 in the shade here right now.  I few days ago it was 99 in the shade and the heat index was 108... with humidity at 86%, yucky (and hard to breathe).

Today we have a break from the humidity which is rare for us... but its hot as heck.

I honestly don't think I've been this hot EVER! We've been doing a lot of work outside, but we always have to wait until late afternoon to get anything done without having to stop and pass out for an hour.  The humidity is killer, although today wasn't as horrible as it's been in the past few days/weeks.

Yeah we got a break today.  I was cutting the grass a few days ago and almost passed out - really.  I got this weird red tunnel vision and ran inside and layed down for a while and then almost threw up.  I didnt though, I think thanks to my ability to hold it back.  Thats how I knew it was 99 and felt like 108 with 86% humidity.  I went and looked it up.

I knew it was hot but still!

I love the heat actually, when we go to Destin I too wear a sweater when the sun starts to go down.  My mom and I get cold soooo easily.

The soupiness Im used to, but some days its literally hard to breathe!  I know marlania, they said were going to break records this year.  Did you know the gulf is in the 90s already??  Thats scary for hurricanes coming into it.

A couple of years ago, before I moved to MS, I was walking around the neighborhood selling raffle tickets for my rescue group, and as I was talking with my friend's grandparents, I started to feel really loopy, and their voices sounded like Charlie Brown's teacher. I couldn't concentrate on anything, and I can't understand how they didn't see I wasn't coherent. A second later, I collapsed, and Brown broke my fall, although I still head my head on the corner of their brick house. So yeah, I know how you felt.

We drove down to Grand Isle a few weeks ago, and the water was warm but with a lot of cold pockets. I don't even want to think about hurricane season, although I did buy water and batteries already just to get started because I can't handle being stuck with a million people buying hurricane supplies. FYI Home Depot has a HUGE pack of Energizer D and AA batteries for 11 bucks. My mom was jealous of my value battery ;pack lol.

Well we have had a "slow" Spring. Everything is about three weeks to a month behind. We are supposed to be having summer, but we're still having spring, as far as I'm concerned. I think we may miss out on summer temps altogether this year, bummer.

Usually it's 90 by now (low humidity in the interior here, thank God) and that can be pretty bad because of couse no one has air conditioning in Alaska! But I was really looking forward to testing out my new place, which is in the basement of a house. My walls and floor are surrounded by frozen earth, so in the summer it should be super dandy cool!

But first we have to get hotter than 80, eh? Lately it's been between 60 and 70. Beautiful, gorgeous weather for the most part, some rain, some thundershowers, but nothing awful. In fact, the winds have been taking care of us in Fairbanks very well, because they've been blowing the forest fire smoke AWAY from us for over a month! I haven't hardly had any bad forest fire days yet this year, and I hope my posting this doesn't jinx us!!

It was 97 degrees yesterday afternoon, though the humidity wasn't too bad. Shadow gets a short walk on days like that. I'd rather break up his exercise to shorter bouts, so that he can rest and recuperate.

It's due to hit the high 80's over the weekend.  That's hot for here.

Ah the "dry" heat of the Central Valley.  When I had my neck surgery and was walking around in a hard collar (and yep, HAD to walk because of the chunk of bone they harvested from my hip) it was in the triple digets for 17 straight days.  But, gosh darn it, it was DRY heat.....I'm not sure that matters much once it gets over 100.  DS lived in Phoenix and LOVED the dry heat.....117 at 9PM was a bit much for me.

The one place on earth I've found that has PERFECT weather is Arroyo Grande and the surrounding areas......

Now for the original question.....we got into the low 80's yesterday.  Nice breeze and really lovely weather.  This, after several days of nasty, nasty thunder storms.

It's 82' degrees already. Feeling much nicer then yesterday, but I think it's still gonna be a hot one.

    58degrees at 8:45am.
It's cold and it kind of cloudy as well. =(

High today is 85, but it will feel like 90 thanks to the humidity.

88°F - 89°F with Thunderstorms. Thats the forecast for the next 5 days. It's pretty typical for summers here only it's usually hotter. I feel bad for Gracie 'cause not many people have been at the dog park to play with her. No one wants to come out and play when it's so wet out.

Here in North Carolina it is 72 degrees now at 9:23am and it says that it is supposed to be high of 90 degrees today. I HATE the heat!

It's around 100 up to 106 during the day, around 80 at night. Inside it's not much differnt because my swamp cooler stops working when the temp outside gets to about 100, never understood why thoes things are so popular in New Mexico.
