    Brief absence

Okay, it's moving time. I'm leaving from here tomorrow, so it'll be a few days before things are back to normal. I may pop in when I get a break. Don't do anything fun while I'm gone lol. See you guys later.

I packed that with my laptop this morning...not like I'll work on it while I'm moving, but I was sure to bring it with me. I'm on my third set of revisions, so maybe one day I'll finish. lol

I'm in Louisiana now, although I'm at my parents' house for the next few days until we get things together. My Jeep was packed with animals and crates, which Brown wasn't too trilled about because Grey was up his butt the whole time. At one point, the pig crates came crashing down (and they were strapped!) along with an small ice chest with COLD water. That few onto the dogs, who then flew into the front seat on my friend's lap while I was driving on the interstate. So with Brown AND Grey all over the front of the car, my friend had to crawl to the back to pick up the stuff that fell. Apparently that all looked especially strange and funny because we got the best looks from ;people in the nearby cars. The only casuality was my phone charger, which was broken when Brown sat on it. As usual, the pigs were the best behaved, although the cats were pretty good since they were drugged. Doped cats are hilarious. Charlie's so stoned that his nose is bright red, and Deuce is sleeping with his head up and half of his body in the cat bed with Charlie. I'll try to get a picture of the two stoners soon.

Meanwhile, I don't know how Glenda moves 7 dogs and whatever else she has. Moving my traveling circus was chaotic enough!

It's only SIX, thank you very much....and I use CRATES!  But, yes, it is totally insane when you're moving critters, no getting around it.  I'm going to take my cats over on Sunday to the new house and let them have the bathroom on the lower level.  It's a nice big room with plenty of places to roam, and I'll just shut the door so we don't have to worry about them getting outside when we are unloading.  The fish tank....gosh, gotta get that done and that's a real pain.......

I'm glad to hear that at least the FIRST leg of your journey was relatively uneventful.
