Part of the reward of doing all that hard work is knowing that other people see a well-trained, lovable pit and it may change their minds about the breed. Really, that might be part of what is so upsetting... that if you can't even change your family's mind about them... [

Tell your aunt to name you any better behaved, better looking, more loved dog in your family. When she can't, tell her to go fly a kite! (ok, I'm being mean, but it's on someone else's behalf and Sally doesn't deserve that treatment.)
The pic looks like she's bored or tired. In NO WAY to even a non-dog person would that look "scary". They're the same folks who think if you see the whites of a dog's eyes, then they're scary mean dogs. Ptooey on them, I say!![:'(]
