The Warm Fuzzy Game

Everyone has been really helpful on the forum for me and I've learned so much. Here's what I'd like to say.

Amitiel: Thanks for offering to help with Patton's playdate so he could get resocialized (P.S. We need to actually schedule a date!).

timsdat: Thanks for the vet recommendation [:D]

Aina: I appreciate that you aren't afraid to defend your feelings and values while trying to educate others (even when we do have opposite opinions [;)]. )

IrishSetterGirl: It takes a lot of strength to admit that you don't agree with people, and a lot more strength to learn the different sides to an issue. It takes even more strengh (and humility) to admit you've had a change of heart... I admire that in people. (And you're a great poet!)

DumDog: Your posts always make me laugh somehow (maybe it's the Hooters picture) and I feel like out of everyone on here I identify with you the most (which is funny b/c I think we actually disagreed on a couple of threads). Maybe it's the Florida/hick thing or that we both have pictures up with us eating lobster on the photo thread. [;)]

Xerxes: I enjoy reading your blog and also your stuff here on i-dog. I almost always agree what you have to say and you always write in a way that I understand.

badrap: I am in awe of your dedication to Pitties and helping to absolve them of their reputation. If there were more people like you I'd like to think things would be a lot different.

ron2: You like classic rock. What more do I have to say? [:)]

There are more, but I always have to go back and look at names!

    g33- I appreciate that you

Another kudo for g33. Though I'm not the church going type I admire and respect that you hold to your values as a christian woman in a harsh, modern world. That is, you believe in something and stand up for it, in your own way. Rock on whichya bad self.

Paige (Mirandobe)- You have been one of the biggest surprises to me on this board and I mean that in a REALLY GOOD WAY).   You have an absolutely stellar sense of humor. You make me laugh at the most unexpected times and pming with you is always a joy. I seriously never know what side of Paige's personality I  am gonna get when I open the message and I LOVE that about you. You are a cheerleader when I need it and you kick me in the a$$ when I need that too. Thank you for that.

Ron2- What I appreciate most about you is that sometimes your posts are so dead on accurate it amazes me.  When this happens and I pm you to tell you how much I thought  you were spot on with your post, I fully enjoy our pm conversations discussing that issue. I spend most that time shaking my head feeling like I am reading a pm that "I" wrote to someone else.  These are most enjoyable times.

Houndlove - I always enjoy reading your posts. You write so clearly and present such coherent arguments that it's very easy to understand what you're trying to convey. I've really enjoyed reading about what you've learned working with Conrad and Marlowe and I'm always impressed by how well behaved they seem to be. (So either you're an awesome trainer or you're great at faking it!) I also appreciate how you try to keep an open mind and how you seem to genuinely "listen" to people's posts before replying to them.

Mark - one more warm fuzzy for mark for the tips on biking with my doggy!  don't mind me, I'm still shaking with the after glow.  See my thread in General.

I had something similar that I wrote out to eventually post for you but I like the way this is worded.. so I am just gonna say ditto[:)] and add a little.

I may not agree with everything that you post, but I respect your difference of opinion  and I wanted to thank you again for your public admission that some of your words might have been insensitive to others who do not share your view. It is a BIG person who can admit that and speaks to your character...  [:)]

I am not going to name "names".....I respect all the folks who rescue, and are willing to stand up to bullcrap......you guys know who you are.......and the folks who know how to treat a certain breed, you guys know who you are, too..[;)]

All in all, all I am saying is, treat your animals like YOU would want to be treated.......Thanks...............

badrap - I just love your posts.  You know when a thread gets heated and goes on for pages and pages?  Well when I don't have the time or inclination to read every single reply I still *always* read yours.  I find them so informative and to-the-point, there's no bull**** and you are capable of challenging others' perceptions and misconceptions without ever being disrespectful or rude.  And I admire the passion you have for your breed and how far you go to stand up for them.

Shelley (jj's mom) - kudos to you, and others, for keeping this thread going for 9 pages. It's not a perfect world but we each do what we can to make it better.

Its really unusual for a 9 page non sticky thread to be this nice!  Its usually the threads that ought to die that we cant resist adding to. ;Perhaps thats just human nature.

So I'm sending out a big warm fuzzy to everyone for being at least as nice as we can be ...er.... not nice!!!!!!!!  [:D] [:D] [:D]

I want to send Ixas_girl a warm fuzzy because she sent an AWESOME swap gift, but not only that, she quotes Antoine de Saint Exupery in her sig and that's fantastic! Because I'm about to add a quote from him in my sig!

I was on a The Little Prince kick yesterday and made some more Ready-to-Walk leads and the last five on my ready-to-walk page on my site are themed after things to do with that book.

Billy (Probe1957) I feel honored to have gotten to know the man behind the "jerk" title enough to find out if  you are REALLY deserving of it. [;)]          I appreciate that I can completly disagree with you on something and there is never any hurt feelings on either one of our parts. We both just "know" the other respects us enough to not take our differences in opinion personal. You are one of the few people in this world that I trust to give me your HONEST opinion, and not worry about how it might hurt my feelings. You can be kind and gentle when the discussion warrants it and a hard a$$ on me when I deserve it. You will never tell me you think a photograph I took  is "decent" or that you "like" a recipe I gave you to make for the girls, when it isn't true. But above all else, the thing i most like in you,  is your absolutely INCREDIBLE sense of humor. You bring laughter to my life every day and I am thankful for that.

rwbeagles for helping my brain along, when i'm half asleep.. you know what i'm talking about [:)]

Ixas_girl - I appreciate how involved you are in the training sections while still trying to be open-minded about various methods and theories. Even before you were a moderator, heh. It seems unfortunately rare to find someone who is willing to take the good and leave the bad from many different "schools" of training instead of simply discounting some out of hand! I'm also amazed by all the work you're putting in to Ixa. I bet she had no idea the kind of life she was about to get when you brought her home! That's one lucky dog!
