File a police report on the bike and then check with pawn shops in your area.  If there is a police report you can give the cops the info and they can pull the individual's info who pawned it.  Several thieves have been caught that way down here.  Good luck and I hope this is the last of the "3's" !!

In other robbing news, someone broke into my car and stole the faceplate of my CD player.  The moron left the unit intact, but the faceplace was history.  How stupid.  Since the unit could not be removed, I don't know why they had to screw me over and keep the faceplate.  It is rendered unusuable and will become garbage.  That's infuriating in and of itself, but my favorite CD was in the unit. [:@]  People really tick me off.

If it's unuseable, there is no reason to not destroy it to get the cd back.  The cd isn't in the faceplate, it's still in the unit.  So technically you might be able to retrieve it.

I found the aforementioned CD today while installing my new CD player.  It was in the sleeve above my visor, so I'm alright.  The one in the unit is one I made, so I don't care if I get it back or not, seeing as how I can burn another one.  But believe me, I would have torn the other one apart to retrieve it if I had no other choice! You can wrap some gauze tape around each tip of a pair of tweezers and get the CD out, too.  I've pulled CD's out of my player w/tweezers w/out scratching the surface, when the stupid player holds on and won't eject.  Face plate off at the time...
