• Alexis Posted : 8/1/2006 9:54:27 AM Ironically, Lily's bday is today Aug 1 and she turned 4, her gotcha day is Dec 4.  I made Lily's bday Aug 1 when I adopted her.  When we adopted Charlie he came with his papers and his bday is July 31st, he turned 7 yesterday.  My father is having brain cancer tomorrow morning, so we are driving up to Chicago later today.  So, for their bday, they will be able to hang with their buddies at Doogy Day Care for a couple of days and we are going to have a small gathering in two weeks for them at our house. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • spiritdogs Posted : 8/1/2006 4:33:08 PM Dancer - April 1, 1989   My heart dog of all time.  I got her in 1992 from a disabled woman who couldn't keep her.  (She's 17 years and 4 months old today) Fergie - April 1, 1989 (We know she's 17, but didn't know the exact date, so we let her celebrate with Dancer!) Sioux - July 30, 2000 (She was about 9 weeks old when I got her from the shelter - and it was about 9 weeks after my birthday, so we celebrate together.  She is another dog of a lifetime!) Maska - June 15, 2000  (His gotcha day was in Oct. 2002 - he's a stray who spent months in a shelter, some time in a foster home, and was returned to the ACO because the foster mom got a new BF who didn't like the dog - glad she kept the BF and I got this wonderful therapy dog!)
