Under each post, on the right hand side under "In reply to xxxxxx" or whatever, and immediately to the left of the POST number there is a little button that says REPORT. When you click on that it opens another field for you and you can report any issues. Hope that helps.
As to how many, I'm not sure. If an edit is made, we are supposed to email the "offender" and let them know that we edited or removed and why. Someone can get email from me, or any of the mods and you will never know that. What happens between us and a member stays that way unless THEY decide to make it public. I have never sent or thankfully received an "official warning", or what I think of as one. I guess for me, I'm more likely to send the sort of "hey, knock it off" thing that Jaime would send to me when I started getting testy. I don't consider that an official warning, just a reminder. I'll often email people and say "you might want to reword that last post since it could be taken wrong" but I've done that forever, even when I didn't moderate. If I see something that could stir the pot, I let folks know. Now Kelly or Jill I'm sure DO send the more official warnings as in, knock it off OR you will be sitting out. And again, no other forum member is going to be privy to that info. And sometimes when folks "disappear" for a few days, it's because they have received a three day suspension. But, you won't know that either, unless THEY choose to share. In my mind, an edit by a mod is public enough.
The forum policy is three strikes and you're out. That means TWO formal suspensions and the last, well, bye bye. And once you are banned for misbehavior, there is no coming back. I hope that answers your questions.
If you feel that there is an ongoing problem, then EMAIL one of us and let us know. I often get emails from folks who are seeing a pattern, or who have information about a member that is contrary to what they claim, and I pass that along to the higher ups. And I have NO problem getting those emails. I don't feel like folks are "tattling", I feel that they are trying to help police their own community and I appreciate the assist.
Remember, all of us have busy lives and other responsibilities. The gals that actually WORK for dog.com have more responsibilites than just taking care of the forum, so none of us is able to be EVERYWHERE. But, we are always open to hearing from you guys, if you are seeing a problem or a pattern.
