Little games you and your SO play, but DENY that you do...

I've been having this evil little urge lately now that DH is retired... Him..."I can't find my remote!"  Me..."Hmmm, did you check the backyard?  I saw Buffy run out with something earlier, but I was busy."

Probably the most amusing one is the "I know your back there spooning me and expecting me to be awake...but I'm not awake....well I am but not awake enough to be interested in what you're proposing...but I reserve the right to be interested at a later date...when I can be in charge of the invitation.." game. LMAO.

Oh, I know that one. That was a huge one when I was pregnant.

Ummmmm, let me sell you a clue. There ARE more important things than coffee.

 
 
Yeah, yeah....I have heard that before........but, first thing in the morning is not my favorite thing......hair is not looking right, teeth are not brushed.....you know........[]

The other game.. if you want to call it that is .. the "I'm the man so i get to sleep closest to the door incase of X problem"

This happens in my house, too...but it's because I cannot sleep near the door. I can't sleep alone in a room with the door open, and I can't sleep with my back to the door if I'm alone.

I am so paranoid, aren't I?

We also have the game of taking care of the junk mail:
Him: Are you gonna take care of this mail anytime soon?
Me: I thought you liked to look through the coupons. Remember that time that you found a great deal on carpet cleaning?
Him: Yeah...*mumbles* You don't need another credit card anyway. []

DH is also mastering the "ignore the dog poo in the back yard" game.  He knows it's his turn, but it will probably sit there until I bitch and moan about it [:'(]    In my defense, I use it as land mines to encourage the neighbour kids to stay the EFF OUTTA MY YARD!  I don't care how cute you think my dog is, I don't care how cute I KNOW he is.  You are not allowed to come into my yard and play with him when I didn't invite you! [:@]

And then there's the dog hair game.  I can't stand to see it, but I don't want to be the ONLY one sweeping.  So today...there is a big clump (yay for shedding [:'(]) in the hallway.  I have stepped over it 3 or 4 times.   Waiting for him to notice seeing as I just swept the whole downstairs 2 days ago. 

I am crying over this thread! It's like  plot suggestions for "Everybody Loves Raymond!"

DH and I also play the "Don't Open The Dishwasher" and "Don't Smell The Sink" games too. I used to play the "I'm Asleep And Don't Hear The Baby" game, but now if he doesn't wake up, I just elbow him and he goes automatically. Who says you need a clicker to train[]?!

There's also the "I'm Too Sick To (fill in the blank) Game". DH will conjure up a migraine and I SWEAR fake cough to avoid doing yard work, and my asthma will often flare up at the most convenient times!

this is very entertaining!!!
 
let's see... the pokey game, for sure... or sometimes, in my case, the "too drunk to f***" game...  or the "i haven't showered in 2 days" line...
 
i cannot see laundry that's not in the hamper...
 
DH leaves the dishes dirty so he can talk me into getting take-out....[]... he also "leaves me the jeep" some days, only for me to discover that there's no GAS in it...[:@]
