Have you tried any of the "clarifying" type shampoos?

Ok...little "cosmetics cop" secret here on clarifying shampoos... if you use shampoos and conditioners with a lot of silicons and such that can build up on your hair, then you absolutely need to alternate with one that doesn't have the ability to "build up" on your hairshaft.    The neutrogena one that is clear is a good choice...however for under $2 for a bottle 3 times the size try the suave clarifying one (it is clear in color)... it is excellent and has no harmful ingredients.. I use this twice a week at minimum...

If anyone has any recommendations for a good facial exfoliant and/or DIY chemical peel, let me know.  I have some acne scars from a recent breakout that look worse b/c I was on vacation and my face got tan and is now dry.

I use the oil or olay Regenerist Microdermabrasion & Peel System.  I think it works great.  It exfoliates and smooths my skin.  It's kind of expensive but lasts a long time.

I love Mac foundation.  I think it goes on the smoother than any other foundation I've used.

The soap that I use is sold here at my shop.  It's imported from portugal.  [linkhttp://www.lafcony.com/clausporto/index.php?frame=BARSOAP]http://www.lafcony.com/clausporto/index.php?frame=BARSOAP[/link]
I love this soap.  It's got shea butter in it and has a great lather.  My boyfriend even uses it.  I have the honeysuckle one right now.  But the cirtus verbena is my favorite.  I haven't tried the lotion or bodywash because we only have the soap.  But I will one of these days.

Shampoo is normally suave.  But I heard it's good to change shampoo brands after every bottle.

Number one product for me is DHC's Velvet Coat makeup primer. Most of the time I just put it on and sweep some loose powder over it. I love the DHC stuff, love getting all their little samples in the mail!
