Ron, just make sure you hire a model with longish hair, otherwise it'd be an obvious fake!

Spazzy -- I think you'd find age not really an issue.  And if you let it, you'll find it could change how you feel about 'old' and 'young' -- into "people I have something in common with" and "wow -- people I REALLY have something in common with".

Old doesn't have to mean, no fun, old fart and grumpy.  But then, if you think 'old' is just looks ... maybe you wouldn't have much in common with anybody.

My list keeps growing........guess I'll just leave it as it was.

I was a few months shy of 49 when I went back to college to earn my degree.  No one believed my age, primarily because they said I don't ACT like I'm "that old".  and remember, I was in school with mostly kids right out of high school.

I think that often young folks have an idea that anyone over 25 is an old fart and no fun.  And that's a shame because by thinking that, they limit their exposure to a really FUN group of folks.  Honestly, I do more goofy things and have more fun NOW than I did as a teenager.

Wow,,,,,,,,,,,there are so many people here that I would love to meet,,,, many that have left too.
Besides my Dane friends Danehaven and Emily (can't remember her name here,,but you guys all remember her with Brutus) it would be so much fun to have a Dane party!
Callie and Anne have helped me so many times,,,I really need to meet them one day and give them a hug!    Cathy and Janice are my heros..because they just are always nice....and I just love nice people that seem to really try not to offend others.   Lori and Glenda,,,gees...they are just my Idog friends!
Besides...I REALLY want to meet Willow!!!!
There are so many others that have touched me in one way or another, I'll think of more as soon as I walk away!

That's because, as a teenager, you're worried about one everyone thinks of you. As an adult of independent mind, you don't care if someone thinks you're silly, hence the ability to have more fun.

50 was the most freeing event of my life .... even better than 41 !!!! (oh I had a tough time with the "over 40" thing).  The older I get the younger all my friends get (cos I don't like old farts either LOL)

Actually Ron, to be brutally honest, I've never given a flying flip what "the neighbors" think.  That would be my Mom.  And, man, did she care...A LOT.  I get a secret chuckle out of being in the middle of a project, covered in paint or whatever, and looking like someone just pulled me out of the dumpster and running to the hardware store and pulling a 100 dollar bill out of my pocket.  Amazing how attitudes change once folks see green.......

    Agreed and well stated Ron.[:)]

I never had as much fun in my teens and early 20's as I do now in my 30's. Unlike when I was younger I am now totally able to laugh at myself (which is good because I give myself a lot to laugh at [;)]). The older I get the more intolerant I get of people who take life too seriously and the more particular I am about the people who I chose to my invest time with. I am nice to everyone, but I don't want to waste time on dour people in my life anymore and I am OK having less close relationships in my life as long as the ones I have are worth the effort.

I am DESPERATLY keeping my fingers crossed though that I don't become my parents when I get to 60...yikes! Just shoot me if I ever take life that seriously, complain constantly and hate people so much![8|]

My wife is becoming more serious[;)].  A few weeks ago i went to Home Depot in these pants she's thrown out a few times (but i rescued).  She refuses to let me wear them out of the house.  They're above my ankles and have big holes.  I ran into friends - the wife, at my urging, e-mailed my wife saying she'd seen me in my Capri's.  I don't know what those are, but it set my wife off.  Neither i, nor the friend, have told her it was a setup!  At 60, things just don't bother me anymore - probably because of all the medicine I'm on!

THAT IS GREAT!! You are who I aspire to be like in my 60's.... hopefully even in my 90's![;)]
