Most of you have a lot of years of living to get to my age (62 in June) and if things are already bothering you this much, WOW, what will it be like in 25-30 years!
But you are right, i do not have the tolerance of some things that I use to. My husband smoking drives me crazy. I stopped 7 1/2 yers ago and he makes half hearted attemps every once in a while. he does not smoke in the house or car, but every time we go somewhere he has to wait outside to smoke instead of going right in and that bugs me. And when we come out of a non smoking place, he has to smoke one before we leave, and that bugs me.
Stopping at a red light next to a car playing that horrible rap music so loud it makes my car shake...or worse having to wait in the ferry line to go to Port Aransas and be behind or in front of one for 15-20 miuntes... bugs me.
For the most part kids don't bother me at all--I have 3 grandkids ages 7, 5 and almost 4. But i hate those ones in stores screaming for some toy or candy bar, etc. Mine would have had busted back sides, but you can't really do that today and it seems parents give in to shut the kid up and the situation just gets worse as time goes on.
Another thing--hubby is long haul trucker and gone 2-3 weeks at a time. I go to bed and get when I want to, eat what and when i want to while he is gone. When i get hungry I look in ice box and freezer and decide what i want to eat for that meal. He comes home, gets up wanting to know what i am going to make for breakfast, what are we going to have to lunch, what am i going to fix for supper. Drives me nutty. After he has been home a few days it isn't so bad, but the first couple, WHEEE, poke a rag in his mouth.
