Free plane ticket, where should I go?

• Free plane ticket, where should I go? ashland Posted : 8/30/2006 1:01:48 PM I have a free plane ticket from Southwest Airlines that has to be used before 12/31/06. It's for $300.00. I was originally going to go to New York with my mom, but she just told me that she won't be able to go. So I have to go somewhere else. New York is off the table because I'd like to go there with my mom or my best friend and neither is available.   Any ideas? I don't really want to use it for California either, since I live in CA and it feels like a waste to me. I can drive to anywhere in CA if I really wanted too. I'm going to Disneyland in Sept, San Diego in Oct and I live about 1.5 hours from San Franciso and Monterey. If you come in the fall the weather is great all the leaves are changing, etc. The monuments are really something to see as well as all the museums.
