RIP, Donna

    How very sad...RIP Donna.

I can only hope that the first blow was totally unexpected and fatal, or at least debilitating enough that Donna did NOT know that the child she carried in her womb, loved and nurtured, was murdering her.  My very first thot was that this boy must be seriously disturbed and the news story seems to confirm that.

At least they are both at peace now.  My prayers for her family and loved ones.

How horrible.  I hope everyone can find some peace; this must be especially difficult for the people she left behind.

Holy cow! How sad. RIP Donna.

What a sad story, RIP Donna

That is, indeed, sad. Condolences and hugs for the family surviving this horrific tragedy.

This is so very sad.  Donna is whole again, with Porsche, her heart dog at the Bridge, but I wonder what will happen to Putter and Jake...

I wonder what will happen to Putter and Jake...

I've been wondering the same thing.  I don't remember this person (maybe if I knew her screen name, here?) but I feel so sad for her and her family.

I know most of you are well intentioned and have good hearts but the reason you probably don't remember Donna is because she was never a member here.  Those that do remember her, it is probably because you've visited our forum and the members can become a bit jumbled.  She was a loved and respected member of our community and as her fiance has mentioned to us, I will also add here, please do not believe everything you read. The family has forgiven and is moving on from this great loss. Donna will always be treasured and remembered in our hearts at dogaddicts. If you'd like to learn more about this amazing woman you can find the page we set up for her here. [linkhttp://dogaddicts.com/donnadewitt.php]http://dogaddicts.com/donnadewitt.php[/link]

I would ask that you honor and respect her memory. RIP Donna.

Putter and Jake are being taken care of. Please don't condemn her son without all the facts, if her fiance can forgive then everyone else should too. I am a member of the forum where Donna posted too, and she will be deeply missed. I think Donna would want us to celebrate her life and not linger on how she died.

Thank you for sharing, it helps us all understand better.  She sounds like a sweet, kind, and supportive friend, from the sentiments shared on that link.  Wishing the best for all of you who knew and cared for her and her family.  Genuine caring thoughts headed your way....

I don't see where anyone has expressed more than deep sorrow that this has happened.  Please know that Donna's family and friends are in our thoughts and prayers in the days and weeks to come.

I have always thought of Donna as such a nice person...she always had only nice things to say about everything.  She had so many friends of the forum...she will be missed so much.
Her fiance Ron, said that Jake and Putter were being taken care of.
This is a lesson in life to us all...we never know when our last day will be. We must always treat life as our last day and not take if for granted. Kind words and jestures to people we know must always be in order. Reminding our loved ones how we feel about them is so important.
    Rest in peace Donna.

Golly, I didn't see where anyone said anything awful either.  Perhaps MY comment was the worst, hoping that the first blow was unexpected and severe enough that she didn't know more.
