miranadobe---I think it will be Roamer ( I lack imagination) he responds to it.

sooner---you are so right, the little things are the ones that matter.

---Thank you all for your kind words.  Roamer is such a special dog, he has given me so much in such little time.  Since I did not have to go anywhere yesterday, I took Romeo to doggy daycare and spent the day playing with Roamer, rolling in the grass, and practicing obedience ( I feel so bad though, as if I am cheating on my little one...lol) Roamer is so smart, it did not take long for him to learn: look at me, seat, come and shake....he is cat crazy and not in a good way..so next we have to learn "leave it."  I was so happy at my progress, I thought he was ready for the leash...big mistake....he took off running and won't close to me anymore. [:(] I should have listened to my instinct instead of my mother. [:'(]

I am not very good with words as English is not my native language (and numbers are my thing anyway) but from the bottom of my heart I would like to say thank you to each and every one of who for all your kind words. [:)]

It's so true that animals can literally wipe away all that's bad about a day and turn it immediately into a good one.  It's like Roamer had "inside information" about your lay-off, and he made the decision to really open up to you on that exact day.

I'm so glad to hear about the amazing progress Roamer is making.  Maybe you lost your job for a reason . . . that you needed some extra time to make the full transition with Roamer.  Something better is ahead for you on the job front.  You deserve to be showered with blessings, and a new job will come your way soon!

I am sorry you lost your job also Olinda, and I know EXACTLY how you feel about Roamer and the happiness he gave you.    I lost my job in November when the place I worked for closed down. I really believe with all my heart that Bubblegum is the one that brought me thru the whole thing,,,and continues to do that. I took on another HORRIBLE job for about 8 or 9 weeks and everyday when I left for work I just tried to think of Bubblegum for when I came home.  I am now working for a veterinarian hospital and its kind of fun but very stressful for me to learn the computer programs...everything is so different and there is so much to learn..I'm not totally sure I'll ever really get it all as well as I have to,,,but again I get thru the bad days by just thinking how soon I will be home walking Bubblegum and playing with her and all,,, she just keeps me going.
So if you have to struggle thru the next few weeks or even months...at least you have the happiness of your pets!
