    Guitar.
Singing ( all along,  but I seriously started developing my timbre and upper range in 1987 and now have tenor to castrati range.)
    Science.
    Math.
Reading gargantuan amounts about dogs, especially arctic breeds.
Motorcycles. I have a shelf with my collection of choppers and Harleys. I have patches on my jean jacket including some from the rags that my friend, Lee wore when he was riding. I can afford everything but the actual motorcycle. Brother-in-law even sent a Harley neckerchief for Shadow.

I love reading about all the interesting things you all do and collect! Looks like we have tons of readers, I'm not surprised. I can't believe Ron said castrati and yes I know it's a music term, I even know what it is.. but still! [:-]

Hobbies: My BF and I have a hot glass studio where we make lampwork beads ([linkhttp://www.villagephotos.com/members/album.asp?folder_id=1044980]here are photos of some of the sets we've made and sold[/link]) and a little bit of fusing. We just bought the contents of a lady's stained glass studio and we're signed up for classes on 8/19. YAY! I read also, well not as much since I got Gracie, still I manage a few books a week.

Collections:  [linkhttp://img.villagephotos.com/p/2002-3/15236/bathroom_706.jpg]weird original paintings for my bathroom[/link], ancient roman coins, fish fossils and a few balinese crib guardians.

If we ever do another Happy Mail, this is a really good resource for ideas. [:)]

Dogs. I love to read about dogs, shop for and with my dogs, collect dog things, etc.

I like to make things grow. Right now, I've got some tomatoes that SUUUUUCK and an aloe plant, some strawberries that I can't keep the birds away from, a litterbox full of grass that'll be a gift if I can get it just right (no, no, I'm not picky!), a Christmas Cactus, a beautiful flowering thingie, and a couple more. I'm about to try to sprout an avocado seed, and I've been thinking of buying a couple more African Violets (I really love them, but they're so sensitive!).

Mostly I just read, a lot.

I don't really have an official hobbies, but I would have to say that my life really does revolve around caring for my animals and learning everything I can about them. I'm getting back into aquarium fish again, after a year or so of not having a tank up, and I'm working on stocking up my newest tank.

I don't really collect books, but I have tons of them. Most are ;packed away at the moment, but I don't have any place to put them yet, so they'll have to stay in the boxes for now. I took out all the ones I wanted to read or reread. Hmm, what else...Oh! I love plants. Apparantly, I have a very green thumb, and I never would have expected that of myself, but after I grew a monster rose bush that was the envy of everyone around, I realized I was doing something right.

I can't believe Ron said castrati and yes I know it's a music term, I even know what it is.. but still!

I should add that I've been playing guitar and studying music since 1974, as well. My first wife had a Bachelor's of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Meadow School of Arts and SMU in Dallas, Tx.

My favorite singers have been people who could sing opera if they wanted to. Ronnie James Dio (Black Sabbath, Dio), Geoffrey Tate (Queensryche),  Rob Halford (Judas Priest), Ian Gilliam (Deep Purple),  David Byron (Uriah Heep), and Freddie Mercury (Queen). I can hit the high note in "Bohemian Rhapsody."  When I do "Dream On" by Aerosmith, I've hit the high note, not a scream but a note, that can make a person flinch. Ian Gilliam was also the voice on "Jesus Christ, Superstar." I used to sing the entire soundtrack.

The voice is a muscle that can be trained.

i read and do gardening but.....my favorite thing is collecting antique clocks.  Somewhere on here (i don't know how to post a link) is a thread with pictures of a bunch of them.  We are on vacation the next two weeks.  There's a clock i want - but can't justify spending the $$ for.  We're sort of going right by it though (couple of hours out of the way).   I don't know what to do.  It's beautiful - but i'd like to retire some day.

Well, of course Animals are a big hobby for me.  But i really enjoy the outdoors, i go hiking and mountain biking a lot.  I try to fish, and i go boating sometimes.  I like swimming, snorkeling and diving.  I also enjoy horse back riding and off-roading[:)].  And at least twice a week i go to the gym to work out.

I don't really collect anything.  I guess you could say i collect recipes since im a chef, but i keep most of those in my head [:)]

What are your hobbies? I mostly like to garden, I have an upside down tomato plant :) Yep, I took an old cooler, hung it and cut a hole in the bottem of it then planted a tomato plant in it, grows great! I finaly have a green yard, something almost impossible to do in the middle of the desert. I also like to make stain glass, oil paint and also some metal art.

Here is a little dragon I casted (my first cast) in metal:
