thank you so very much for all the positive thoughts and prayers. It has taken me about a year to decide to have sasha sterrilised. As sasha only mixes with sterrilised dogs I didn't see the need. She is an inside girl. I didnt want to put her through all the pain.

Last month she was in season and a stray  male who was entire tried to get to her. I was at the other end of the beach. Luckily she did not get pregnant. It made me relise i needed to get her done. That and the fact it would prevent some cancer and all the male dogs at the park keep humping and annoying her.

Anyway I booked her in on thursday. She was with the only vet i trust. She is a lovely vet. Anyway, the surgery went well and she came home on thursday afternoon a bit confused and drowsey.

I sat up with her on thursday night as every time she tried to sleep she jumped in pain. I didnt have her elizabethen dog collar on her either so i had to watch she wasnt licking her stitches. When we got out of bed on friday morning she was very lathargic and her eyes could hardly open. She was 'floppy'. I then noticed a couple of patches of blood on my bed.

I thought i would keep an eye on her. She then sat on the floor and when she got up there was more blood. Not a lot maybe the size of a 20c coin. A few patches like that. I looked at her stiches and they seemed ok.

I called the vet and she said bring her in just so they could check her over. When we got the the vets sasha got more sick. I told her i would stay with her and it wouldnt hurt like yesterday. The two vet nurses pushed her onto her back to check her stomach and blood started to drip out. It stated dripping reallty bad and sasha started to struggle.

They said I had to leave. I felt so bad. I came home and cried for the rest of the day. The vet called a few times and said what was giong on. I ttured out that there was excess blood between her muscle tissue and skin so it was dripping out.

She rested all of yesterday at the vet and she was fine. [:D]. She is now taking things very slowly. Thanks for all the prayers guys. It really helped us.
