Summertime Saint Bernards

    Summertime Saint Bernards

I took a few pictures of Shaq and Marley this evening. We were enjoying a quiet evening in the backyard, and by some miracle the grass still looks nice and green, even with two giant dogs! [:)]

I like that in the pictures, you can really see the diffrence in size between Shaq and Marley. Shaq will be three next week, and is a full grown 211 pounds, Marley turns two in July, and is only 140 pounds.

They sure are a couple of beautiful dogs!  [:)]

What gorgeous dogs!!!!!  I can't believe how little Marley looks next to Shaq.  Heaven to me would be snuggled right in between your 2 kiddos.

    Thank you!! [:D]

Yep, Heaven for me is snuggled up with DH and the saints! I take the BEST naps on the floor right between the dogs! [:)]

What a beautiful pair they are! I can't get over the size difference between Shaq and Marley I always thought she was bigger in size.

I would be taking naps with those too!

Oh my goodness I wish I could see them in person. 211 pounds sounds just magnificent!  Beautiful dogs!  More pictures you!!![:D]

I have posted these before, but just to compare... the first picture is DH with Marley (after she booted me out of bed on my birthday of all days!) and the second is DH with Shaq. As you can see, both dogs are big, but Shaq is the clear winner!

Gorgeous, gorgeous dogs!  I remember seeing the ones with your hubby before - that one where it looks like he's barely able to peek over the top of the Mountain O' Dog is a riot!

When I was a kid, my cousin and her husband had two Saints (Ben & Bridget) and I rode in the backseat of their tiny Saab between the two dogs.  I was about 10 and thought it was the coolest thing in the world that I was being tossed around between them (the olden days - no seatbelts required) and I was being covered in slobber throughout the ride.  Each corner we took and it was like being squished on that old Tilt-a-Whirl ride at the amusement park!!

Oh!  Bonus shots of DH!  My day is complete now!!! Thanks for posting them.  [:)]

That's a lot of dog to snuggle! They look great.

I will never, ever, get tired of looking at pics of Saints.  When we get a friend for Ben, that's what it will be.  (I want to rehome one - I know they are often abandoned because the cute puppy grows into a BIG dog.)  Until then I will content myself with looking at pictures, and yours are just adorable.  :)

I think it's hilarious that you say that Marley is "only" 140 pounds, seeing as she has a good 20-25 pounds on me, LOL.

My dogs weigh less than 30 pounds, combined[:D]

As always, they're beautiful! The size difference is amazing. If I ever move to a cold place, I think I'm going to need a Saint.
