Yes, it's so very noble because they are less in demand, and yes, we avoid both the high-maintenence puppy stage and the gangly awkward teenaged stage, but dammit! No puppie pictures to look back and go awwww at! I often browse the interwebs looking for puppy pictures of dogs that I imagine might look the way mine did as puppies.
