They look remarkably NOTHING like a full adult greyhound.   There are several Whippets that belong to my greyhound walking club and they are brindles that are a little older and grey in the muzzle.  I think they are so darn cute when they get older.  They have that "wise" older greyhound look but on a minature size body. • Erin B Posted : 11/15/2006 10:53:47 AM Leroi is pronounced "Leeroy" but is spelled Leroi because we've decided he'll be a bilingual dog!  One owner is french and on is english so we stuck the "i" on the end.  Technically it's "The King" but it's not pronounced that way.  Cheesey little play on words when you think about it, though!  I feel in love with whippets after meeting several that all seemed to display their own hilariously quirky senses of humor.  They are very big personality dogs in my opinion.  Can't wait to see how Leroi turns out - naturally he'll be the cutest, smartest whippet that ever lived...[] 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
