Guess the Breed Photo Game!

Hah!  That's what I get for posting June on a board with dog savvy folks!  rofl  Normally people think she's come kind of greyhound or whippett mix.  Yes, she is PB Border Collie (smooth coated).  I thought if I left out pics of her with sheep and flying through the air with frisbees I'd throw y'all off.  *snerks*

It looks like Thres not much more to guess on Gizmo's breed so I'll just post what I may think she is.  Even living with her confuses me a lot.  I sometimes like to think she is karelian Bear Dog but that is a very rare breed and I dought someone would just abonden a puppy who is full bear dog.  Vet said she looks like a northern breed so it could be possiable she has a smidge of bear dog in her, just look at her tail.  Her coat is smooth yet thick and soft.  She would defently not be for a first time dog owner, very smart yet stuborm and does not get along with other dogs well, just like a tipical bear dog.

Now for my secound guess and what I tell most people.  When asked "what breed is she" I'll say she is a border collie.  Once someone asked me "does your pit bull bit?"  I told them Giz is a pur Boder Collie, they belived me.  Not that I dont' like pitties, some people just assume any short haired dog is one.  BC's are very common around the area I live so I go with this guess over any other.  As for the ACD part of her, it's possiable if you look at her spoting on her white part of her coat.  I've lived with a few but her behavor just doesn't seem to mach them.  She does like hearding and seems to have some good hearding instincs in her.  She can be snappy, common trate in hearders.  I love the hearding group so if I had to pick a group to place here, thats where she would be.

Here is a pic of a karelian Bear Dog for thoes who have never seen one, colors look like a BC yet it's a seprate breed not at all related.

Now look at Gizzy's tail, could it be possiable?

i might as well give my dog up too as i know no one will guess it unless they go back and read my first post i made on the forum.

    dunt dun duh....

    berserker is:

    75% brittany
    12.5% beagle
    12.5% gordon setter

i should also add he was a runt and looked nothing like his littermates in shape, size, color or temperment.

the mother was full blood brittany, and the father was half brittany, a quarter beagle and a quarter gordon, unfortunatly the father was the son of the mother as well, so we are not anticipating but kind of expecting some genetic problems with my poochy in the future. all of his littermates had brittany bodies and heads with the black and orange markings of a gordon, they were twice the size of berserker. how anyone bred a gordon setter to a beagle i do not know, but must have been interesting!

    You're approx 30 to 50 percent right.

Brando is very very smart, he is super courageous, the best geese chaser in the hood. He makes me laugh at least 10 times a day. He really loves to sit on my lap or sit by my feet staring up at me.

Trixie, is the sweetest, happiest, goofiest dog I know.
She has a little life of her own, but won't refuse to sit on my lap.

Why did Trixie come as an attachment?

I couldn't remember what you said he was. Going by looks alone, I would say Papillon.

I'm really bad at guessing breeds, but here are my entries:

    Buster

    Max:

    Lady:

    OK, guess away...
    • Gold Top Dog
    Buster - brindle Dane mix?
    Max - Rottie/Terrier?
    Lady - Irish Wolfhound mix?
    • Gold Top Dog
OK, I didn't mention anything about them.  They are all fairly small.  Lady is about 28lbs, Max and Buster are both around 35-40lbs.  I don't really know what any of them are, but I do have pretty good guesses, so keep guessing.

I'll have to re-assess my guess, maybe. Irish Wolfhounds are really tall but if crossed with something, they might not be so tall.

The consensus on Conrad seems to be a GSD x Lab, but I gotta say that we've arrived at a totally different conclusion. His cage card at the pound had him as a GSD x Shar Pei, but I did a little research and came up with bloodhound mix.

Attached a picture of a bloodhound and Conrad for comparison. Our groomer seems to think that he might be mixed with Ridgeback, but that's a rare breed so as much as I'd love to think that, I find if highly unlikely.

She isnt exactly lady like and she is not a prissy dog. Bailey is rugged! She loves to run and jump and vocalize. She adores toys and loves to give her family lots of puppy kisses. Hey life is good when you are only a year old!? Why hurry to grow up. Just because Bailey is an adult now does not mean she acts like one!

EDIT:  I can't get the pictures to work right and I'm too tired to work on it so I'll post later.
~Rose loves animals.  She tries to groom the rabbits and will even let the baby sugar gliders hang on her.  She is very lazy and would love to be a lap dog all day.  She hates thunderstorms and is a velcro dog.
~Colton is a crazy man.  He likes to make lots of noise.  He is very smart(I've had to baby-proof my house) and can clear a 24 inch jump with little running start even though hes only about 13 inches at the shoulder.
~Chase likes to chase squirrels and rabbits.  He climbs fences and digs holes.  He loves to be with his people, but his favorite thing to do is run!
