Collie mix? I don't think so...

I doubt is malinois  except maybe a 100 years ago or so. [;)]

If he was a mix, I was guessing maybe Mal AND Shepherd.  Not pure Mal!!  [:D]  Something about that first picture shows a little hint to me.  But I didn't see it in the other pics ....

She is a danty little thing. Or at least tall and lanky. Right now she's about 75 pounds and stands about 24-25" at her shoulders. That's exactly where a shepherd should be.

This is supposed to be a collie/shepherd mix.

If he's not pure GSD, there might be some Malinois in there -- the facial features and color are a little different.

This is a confirmed Collie/Shepherd mix.  It was an intentional mix done at a guide dog school.  You can really see the Shepherd, but if you look, you can really see the Collie.  Sometimes it depends on what you're *looking for* when you actually see it.  :)

Honestly, I think the "dogoftheday" in the above post is more than just two breeds if there is Collie in there ...

After looking at the link I posted, he does look to have something else in him. You'd think that a german shepherd and collie mix would have standing ears. And somewhat standing straight on the head. Maybe some lab? lol I don't know.

Here is a link to some working shepherds. Sasha's markings look very similar to the third picture from the bottom. Actually, almost exact. So her weight, height, and coloring are all german shepherd traits.

I have been looking for things that would point to a mix, but I haven't found any yet.
