    Thursday 9-12

Is it just me or are there 2 ndr forums? I see the linear look is back. Very nice. Hope everyone is well this week. Last day of the conference I'm at. It has been interesting being in cinci. First time actually staying here and not just driving through. It's quite a big city. Much bigger than Detroit. It has its rough spots but there are some really swank areas too. I can't wait to get home though. We are going to take one of my last tests on Sundayand iI need to get a few practices in before that.

Paragraph breaks don't work when you start a thread

But they seem to work on replies (posting this for the it people)

Always use rich formatting that should fix that. Maybe you have rich formatting set as default in your options. And yes, they seem to have multiplied. No NDRs - now 2 :-(

Morning all -- been totally lost in work this week.  Let's just call it  "job security" (if such a thing ever exists?).

I had 3 warm bodies next to me this morning and it was SO tough deciding yes, I really *did* have to get up!! LOL

I noticed the two NDR's yesterday.  I now prefer the sticky note format rather than the linear format.  Go figure. lol  With the sticky note format I can see, at a glance, the new threads.  Since this site opens to the home page with the sticky notes it's easier than clicking on "the forums".  At least for me.

Jonathan, I asked a question in another thread about deleting but haven't seen a reply yet.  Also, can you merge the two NDR threads that were started today by two different people?

I get slightly annoyed when people post a question in a training/behavior  thread and I or someone else respond and they never come back and say a word.  Makes me wonder if they died or or they're just rude or think I'm full of crap.  Just say something people even it it's "get over yourself". lol   Maybe they couldn't find their way back and I'm too sensitive.

Last night Belle would not come inside after the last potty break.  I went out and she was barking and jumping as high as she could at the back fence.  That's pretty high. *gulp*  I got a flashlight and there was a opossum eating berries on a tall bush that grows right behind our fence.  I had to drag Belle in the house.  The opossum was completely unimpressed by Belle by all appearances.

You're killing me saying you like the sticky note format lol.

    Hello Forums merged.

Re: sticky notes: I think you must mean what we call the grid. If that's right, I'm so pleased. It's going to be even better soon as we're adding the ability to view the whole conversation and reply direct from the sticky note (grid) layout.

I know I owe you a reply. To delete your own thread, you should have a little triangular arrow (it's not obvious)... at the top of your post as the thread starter. You can delete there I believe. We certainly allow users to delete their own threads and posts. If you get a problem by all means reply.

So pleased you like the 'sticky note' format. Trust a user to come up with a better name for it. :-)

    Sorry, Julie.  lol

Thanks, J.  I'll go look for that little triangular arrow.

@Jackie, lol, Belle was protecting you from that vicious berry eater :)

We are told by the weather man that a cold front is coming thru later.

We need rain and those poor folks in CO are getting too much.

A dose of cold medication, an early night and a cool front coming through led to a great sleep for me.  Unfortunately, Monroe was restlessly roaming the house all evening - perhaps we had a berry eater also (I'm not looking, terrified of the things).

M&M's best friend, the dog walker, is coming this morning.  I really don't know what I would do without her and the boys adore her.

With the hopes that no one from my work is on here I'm going to admit that I am utterly bored and I don't have nearly enough to do!  This morning I feel like going for a little wander but I feel bad for those around me that have too much to do.

If they would take the time to train me, perhaps even hire me, I could help with the load.  Just sayin'

    No job security here!

Nice to see the updated hot topics and unanswered threads to the right!

Busier than a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest. No time to play.

This place has me confused.  I was trying to reply to Auburn, hit the reply button (which had a square around it, not like what is here), and it said "report as spam"   Duh???

    • Gold Top Dog

Marty, I got that a few times but I don't anymore.  Just now when I hit the reply button at the upper right corner of your post, it didn't "say" anything.

I tried to send the forum IT guy, jbrayshaw, a private message and it couldn't find him.  lol  I think there are still some kinks to work out.  I can't find the email option but maybe because people haven't activated that in their account settings.  I've also changed some settings on my account settings and saved them but next time I look they've reverted back to what they were.  *shrugs*  I'm sure some of the problems I'm having are because I'm still learning this format.  Hopefully, the problems that are caused by the new format itself will be resolved soon.

The massive fire in Seaside, NJ is just too tragic. :(

Marty, I just figured out what happened to make that 'flag as spam' message  appear.  You must have had your mouse hovered over the black arrow to the right of the word 'reply'.  That drop down box is only there on the first post in a thread.  I remember now that's what happened to me when it happened.  Move your mouse over a little to the left and that box goes away and you can hit reply.

    • Gold Top Dog

OK, I get it, but it is confusing...didn't want to accidentally flag her post!
