ok here we go:
for phone browsing I am using and android platform and running Dolphin browser.
Other than that, here is what I have seen in my extremely limited time trying to get to threads. For the comments below, I am on my computer using a firefox broser
1. When I first come to dog.com and click on the forum button, I am brought to a screen that says choose your category - this lists 3 headings, with various subheadings then at the bottom I have to click the arrow button, or pages 2 or 3, to see the rest of the forum headings that dog.com has to offer. It does not show all the forum headings on one page. Why do I have to click through pages to get the rest of the forum pages? They should be all listed on one page.
2. When I click on the subheading "general chat" it takes me to a 2nd subheading titled general chat. This lists a whole lot of very old threads from 2009 and so on, all from rwbeagles - nobody else. If i try to sort to newest threads, nothing happens. So, I go above and click on the 1st general chat heading (again, there are 2 - hard to describe what it looks like. It says HOME > NEWS & ENTERTAINMENT > GENERAL CHAT > GENERAL CHAT. I would post a pic, but I can't do that either. Anyhow, if I click on the first general chat, to back up a forum, I then see the new threads in a sticky note type column format.
3. The sticky note column format is awful. FB tried it for a brief time, remember that? It was so bad and users hated it so much that it was one of the things they backed off on. Aside from not having any dates and they seem pretty randomly placed, our eyes aren't really trained to work that way to seek out information on the internet. It's chaotic.
4. The 64kb limit on attachments is unusable. (I think I already mentioned that but wanted to get it in this list)
5. "posts not read" (Or new threads?) doesn't work
6. Unanswered threads just lists all of the forum rules - that's pretty useless.
Thanks!
