    Thirsty Thursday Chat

I so had to drag my sorry butt out of bed this morning.  I was far too comfortable, and having Ari all snuggled into me didn't help motivate me either.  If it hadn't been for an emergency page - I probably would have put off getting up until the last possible second.

I've been so happy to find an alternate, natural way to keep my tinea versicolor in check.  Since I started using the lotion, my skin hasn't been so danged itchy all the time and I haven't seen any more skin spots pop up!  Just not being itchy all the time is such a relief.  It's usually a benign skin condition, but mine is so bad I itch like mad 24/7.

Dunkin Donuts Iced Caramel coffee is dangerously good.

    That is all.

So after my presentation yesterday I came home and felt exhausted and relieved. I was happy to have a bit of down time.

But I woke up this morning, feeling all down about it and morose LOL I shoulda woulda coulda stuff
Busy day, which I hope will keep my mind in a better place

It was very dark this morning when I got up - B was out mooching, next thing he is charging around the yard after something - which I could not see. My guess is either a cat or a fox because that is about all I've ever seen him get that nuts about. Anyway I scuttled back inside in a hurry LOL

Sharon, I'm glad you've found something to give you relief from the intense itching.

Karen, I was morose as a person could be after the bid opening yesterday.  I'm hoping you're feeling that way for no reason.  I do understand that woulda coulda shoulda feeling.  Staying busy does help or so they say.

This song keeps playing in my head.  Especially the chorus.  lol   My favorite piece from the Music Man.  Oh yeah, we got trouble.  Right here in river city.

I've been sneezing and my nose has been running profusely since I walked in the door to work this morning.

The upgraded software did something funky to stuff the boss was working on, so I haven't been able to do any entries while he tries to fix it. Needless to say, I am now really far behind.

DS is really pushing his luck. Again.

So, wondering if Deb is at the state lottery office picking up her $149,000,000 share of the Powerball. Wink

I am really allergic to dogs. Still. Shots haven't helped me too much yet. My own dogs are okay, the extra dog , ugh... I'm never puppy sitting again, not because it is too much work, but because I am too allergic to extra dogs.

One of the two NJ tickets was sold less than 10 freakin' miles from my house.  I will be consoling myself with Vodka all night long.

I am on day 3 of a monster headache and today's headache is brewing to blow into migraine. I took aleve at 3am.not sure how long I have to wait to take more. Will have to look that up. I am tempted to go home to go to bed.

abbie and lily woke me up seriously barking madly at something outside in the backyard. It was not their critter bark, it was a there's someone in the yard bark which had me jumping out of bed and flipping on all the lights. I didn't see anything though and my motion sensor light on the driveway side wasn't on. Anyway nothing was missing from the garage so no harm done. They either scared someone away or therereally was a critter.

I have way too much to do and don't know where to start. the numbing headache pain doesn't help

Karen and Jackie - I hope you both hear something positive from yesterday. (((Hugs)))

Wow Deb - so close and yet so far. We love you just the way you are but we'd have still loved you if you were rich :).

Hope everyone struggling with allergies and headaches feels better soon. This has been a rough year for allergies for me too.

I fell asleep on the couch watching tv last night about 9. I was sooooo tired!!

Good thoughts for my mom please.  She called me up crying that she may be losing her job, and she was having a panic attack.  I've never heard my mom so upset.  Sad  I'm calling her later today to hear the whole story (she called me while she was at work).

Oh no.  I'm so sorry and hope she's not going to lose her job.  Sending lots of good vibes for her.

Sharon, how upsetting for your Mom (and you --- hearing a parent so distraught is very difficult).  I hope everything will be okay.  I'm glad she has her new dog to comfort her!

Karen, yay for winning the contract!  Now, continued good contract vibes for Jackie.

Yes, this year has been a doozy for allergies.  Oddly enough, my symptoms were almost nil when I was in CT.  No itchy eyes, no drippy nose.  There's something in the OR landscape or air this year.

Whenever I hear of lottery/powerball winners getting millions and millions of dollars, I always think it would be nice if they could figure out a way to distribute that money to more people, even if it means each winner gets only 1 million instead of 100 million.  Like have a few drawings every single day or something until a winner is picked.  I don't know statistically if that would work out, but wouldn't it be better to make 100 people millionaires instead of one person a 100-hundred millionaire)?

Can't get focused on work this morning.  I need to get cracking!

    Wants it all Deb W.

P.S.  Sharon - I hope everything works out for your Mom.
