Wednesday!

It is going to feel like mid summer today. Should be near 80. I would just like to bottle up the warmth and keep it for some cold winter day ;p like sunday when it is supposed to snow. ;) I am so glad it is wed. This week feels like a long one. I can't decide if I want it to be the weekend though or not since we have camp this weekend. Normally I like camp but this time around all the dogs are going to be in one room. They are not allowed in our bunk rooms. Abbie has never slept in that type of situation so I am a bit worried it will be too much for her little brain to handle. Plus there will be a girls horse camp there as well which means little girls on horses all voer the trails. I am not worried about abbie and horses, she respects their size and stays away but man do I ever worry that some dog will go investigate and a girl will get thrown. That would be awful. Normally we have camps to ourselves. I think the person who planned this camp needs to be fired ;p Anyway, work today will be crazy busy. I have tons of stuff that all needs to be done at once.

This has felt like a really long week. Today will be insane and then the rest of the week, somewhat less.

This weather rocks - I actually almost put on on capri's this morning. Of course it will be 40 by this weekend - but who cares it's nice right now.

I must finish Riley's Halloween costume tonight. I don't want to cut it close and it has to be ready by Saturday. It's not that big of a deal - some cat ears and fur on cuffs and stuff, but I SUCK at sewing.

I'm in Lush with my mom. The one guy was just talking to me about their great stuff. I hate it here. There are too many smells going on, and it makes me want to puke.

At the airport ready to go!

Kayaked early and then had to try and evade the 105lb moving obstacle to get out the door. He hates to see a suitcase and not his bag with it :(

Now I'm in the car with the Lush crap. I took about two bites of my very delicious lunch because it has me ready to puke. I was feeling better, then I was trapped in the botanical scented hell. Kick in soon Dramamine, though we are almost home, and I hawes huge burrito and great salsa and chips to eat later. Though, I may not be home till 10 or so. I'm taking Luke to the city for a Fit to Work Seminar at the Penn Vet Working Dog Center, if I don't get stuck in too much traffic on my way there. It sounded like fun, and maybe it'll help in my ultimate quest to get Luke to take the title of the fastest cavalier in flyball (he actually probably is from what I can tell, but I would have to travel with him to somewhere that has tournaments with the other organization that actually keeps those records).

Well, I guess it's my turn to be envious of everyone's weather. It's cold and drizzly again today. I have a sweatshirt on and I'm still cold. I hate being cold Sad .

DH came home last shift saying he didn't feel good and came home yesterday feeling crappy again. He went to bed at 8 and was still in bed when I left at 8 this morning. He never does that unless he's really feeling bad. I offered to bring Shane in so he could get some rest but he wanted to keep him. He'll regret that when he realizes Shane wants to play all day long Stick out tongue

He was telling me about one of the many stupid calls they had and one of them was a guy passed out in the drive-thru of Burger King, so they call 911. The guy was drunk and DH's captain let him park his car and call a buddy for a ride. I think they should've called the cops and had him arrested. Super Angry

Lisa and Julie --- 80 degrees? Sun? That sounds wonderful! I'll try to imagine myself there, instead of here where it's about 45 degrees, raining, and gloomy. Hearing rain pelting the windows made it very hard to get out of bed this morning.

Jen, I was confused by your post about "Lush" --- I thought you were referring to drinking or something! Then I figured out it had something to with a store that sold things with heavy fragrances, not alcohol, right?

Cathy, I hope your husband feels better. And I hope Shane doesn't drive him too crazy while he's trying to rest!

Sounds like Karen and Deb have an adventure planned -- enjoy!

Oh, and Deb, when I first heard that Muse song, it was on my radio alarm when I woke up one morning. I was listening to this breathy guy's voice, and I thought, "Who is singing in that annoying manner?" But then as it builds towards the end, I kind of liked it. Now when I hear it on the radio, I turn it up!
