TGIF!

Well were is everybody today?  Jackie heads up it was 67 at 4:30 a.m. and dropped 10 degrees in an hour. We are now having heavy rain and lots of lightning.  I just got popped in the ear  by lightning...now that was a  "shocker" :)  (I wear a phone earpiece at work)  The front is a big one, my fibro felt it first while sleeping woke me up at midnight and now I am a zoombie.

We are supposed to get freezing temps by Sat night...burrrrrrr!

Hot and Rock love this time of year, me not so much.

Wonder what the tiki bar special will be today....something yummy and chocolate with a blast of expresso would be nice:)

We're supposed to get a front in Saturday night and temps in the 60's on Sunday.  It will be nice to have some cooler temps but I hope we don't get any bad storms.  Sorry you got zapped!  Ouch!  I hope your fibro settles down.

Without Deb we're left to our own imagination on Tiki bar drinks since Tina seems to be a slacker when it comes to finding us drinks. lol   A friend of mine told me about a pineapple upside down margarita but I'm still waiting for her to send me the recipe. 

We're interviewing for a service tech.  I am always shocked that some people lie right to your face hoping you won't do a background check or call their references.  One guy told us he had a few minor things on his criminal record that had all been dismissed but when we checked we found numerous felony convictions for possession with intent to distribute and carrying an illegal weapon.  Doesn't take a genius to figure out what his sideline is.  You would never have suspected based on his clean cut appearance and personable attitude in the interview.  Oh well, the search continues.

I wish I could capture this weather and hold on to it forever. It finally cooled down last night and is actually a little chilly this morning. Perfect!

As I mentioned yesterday, I don't normally sleep with ear plugs in when DH is working but I did last night and slept like a baby. I highly recommend them to anyone having trouble with noisy husbands or other noises.

 After a ridiculous ordeal requiring 2 days worth of phone calls and faxes I finally got my flu shot yesterday.  A complete cluster for something so simple.

Today at work it turns out one of our big projects from last year is going to have to be revised b/c we failed to test all the sizes we were changing and come to find out, in reality only 1 size works.     In addition to that, we apparently don't know what plate size we use for a standard, b/c depending on which reference sheet you look at it calls for 2 different sizes.  And they aren't interchangeable.  One requires less work than the other so I'm trying to get everything updated to show that one.  In researching this I'm told this came up a year ago and was never corrected.

On the bright side I'm having a great hair day, so there is that.... :D

Jackie, glad to hear Twister's appointment went well yesterday, and fingers crossed he has no issues with the meds.

Fall is here once again and this weeks drink combines the wonderful Autumn flavors of apple and cranberry,  Spiked with warming absinthe and the zing of ginger, this one will warm you insider and out

LOL, at the puppy and doggie door the only thing that would have made that story any cuter would have been action photos.

I set 20/20 to record tonight...just in case I forget or fall asleep. 

Today is Step Daughter's birthday, tomorrow is my Granny's BDay (rip Granny we miss you), Sunday is my  daughters BDay, Tuesday is one Granddaughters 5 year old bday and one week from Tuesday is my other granddaughters 6 year old BDay.  Whew! Do you think they could get any closer???

It is finally a sunny day here - wahoo - first one since last week!

I was just taking stuff out of my car before heading out and B thinks every trip to the car means he's going somewhere exciting. Oh to have such optimism

"UPDATE......ABC has decided not to air the story tonight. They want to have more time to put our story together and dedicate more time to our portion of the show. It will be aired very soon.....will def let everyone know."
