Ingredients

2 oz. Three-O Grape Vodka
1 oz. Melon Liqueur
Splash of Pineapple Juice

Instructions

Shake with ice and strain into a martini glass and garnish with an orange slice.

Olive Garden was good.  They were running a deal where you get an appetizer, two entrees and salad and breadsticks for $25 - so it was a cheap time.  Whoo Hoo!  I got to spend some much needed quality time with my long time BFF.  We've been best friends since we were 3 years old and have remained tight all along (we lived next door to each other).

Busy day - I always get annoyed when Friday's are busy. 

Yea for Friday is it toooo early for lucky tini???  Have lots going on here, so havent been around much.  Have a great day all!

Yep, I'm very glad it's Friday too. I was listening to the news this morning and they were talking about a fire last night and the location is in the same area as our office. Turns out it's up about a block and I'm guessing it must've flared back up again since a couple of fire trucks were racing there as I was pulling in.

I heard back from Shane's cardiologist and she agreed that the atenolol could be contributing to the loose stools. She suggested weaning him off for a week to see. She asked if I'd considered it might be food allergies and trying an elimination diet and honestly, if I had to bet, I think that's what it is. He seems itchy to me and has been messing with his ears, even though they look great. I so did not want to go down this road again with playing detective

Our heat wave broke last night and it's cool and gorgeous again this morning. Hopefully the 100 degree temps will stay away for awhile.

I have a big ole blister on my hand from the repelling (blinks at jackie) then climbing all those ladders yesterday.

I hope the rain holds off till after your bike ride.  We had an isolated storm that dropped almost an inch in about 30 minutes.  That's on top of the three inches we had a few days ago.  :) 

I had to drop my kitty off at the vet this morning.  They're booked solid so I couldn't make an appointment.  I hated having to leave him there but it was that or wait till next week and I didn't want to wait.  He's not feeling well lately and not eating well either.  He's thirteen years old but hopefully whatever's going on isn't serious. 

Jackie, I hope there's nothing seriously wrong with your kitty.

Julie, you are braver than I would ever be to go to the top of Mighty Mac. Since you posted pics, now I won't have to.

 That looks like a festive drink!  I was all gung-ho to try it until I read "Three-O Grape Vodka"  Not a fan of grape or cherry flavors.  (Cherry is made worse b/c I'm allergic to certain red food dyes.)

Reminds me, I still haven't received the info back from my doctor about the ultrasound I had on Tues.  On the phone w/them now...

I'll help but there won't be much left when I'm done. I'm the queen of purging stuff. I put 4 bags out for a charity pick-up yesterday and was thrilled to see the truck pull up and take it away. If I were braver, there'd have been a lot more of DH's stuff . I don't know what the opposite of a hoarder is, but that'd be me. Maybe a minimalist?

I work in a no fly zone (9/11 and really tall building and all) and also somewhat near a airforce reserve base.  Usually the always announce when they will be doing fly by's or anything near us since it is odd, etc.

Well, airforce jets have been zooming past (back and forth) for the last 1/2 hour or so with no announcement.  Yeah, that's got me creeped out.

Ultrasound normal.

I'm freakin annoyed by people today. Sooo looking forward to lunch time to get away from these nutjobs.

Interesting Lisa, I did not know that was a no fly zone. Makes sense though.
