zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

It's another beautiful day here. I wonder how many days we have had without rain. It hurts to walk on the lawn, it is so prickly and dry.

I got to repel off a bridge last night. That was totally cool. Most of the dog handlers took their dogs. I wussed out on that part of it. It just seemed so awkward. There was only 1 dog though who truly freaked to the point that they decided not to take him over. Most were scared but didn't panic. The otter hound howled like someone was trying to kill him though lol. Then once he figured out the harness would save him, he settled down. It was a fun night.

I head to the UP tomorrow. That is going to be an early morning. It is about 4 hrs to get where I am going so I have to leave super early.

I need some good water shoes so shopping is on the agenda for later today.

Jumping off a bridge on a bungee cord? No. Not gonna happen. I don't even like to be ON the bridge as afraid of heights as I am.

It's really nice here too. Maybe rain tomorrow which we could use, but I'll water this evening anyway.

Julie, be sure to take something for those danged black flies in the UP....as I recall they are thick enough to carry a person off.

Would never bungee jump, or sky dive lol. Not my thing in the slightest.

Friday needs to hurry up lol. I'm itching to get started on my vacation Stick out tongue Tonight I'm headed down to the "city" to meet with friends for drinks and dinner. I put city in quotes because even though I'm going to our capital, it's not like it's a huge bustling place like Boston or something lol. Tonight should be fun. I have seen them in a long while.

Julie, you are repelling not bungee jumping, right? I've repelled--scary but cool. Bungee jumping?? No way on earth.

A gorgeous day here and I'm at the office. I hope to finish up early so I can head to the garden store and then home.

Right, repelling not bungy jumping. I dont think I could ever bungy jump. Repelling is a controlled descent with ropes. The creepiest part was going over the edge of the bridge railing with nothing to hold on to. You put the rope behind your back and use that to control how fast or slow you go down. I had a tough time in the beginning trusting that my one hand on the rope was going to be enough, but it was fine.

Fun Julie!!

I had an odd dream last night. I was outside with Sonja and we saw a huge caterpillar in the grass near the front door. It was about 6-8 inches long and about 2 inches thick - but it had the head of a snake. The rest of the body was furry and striped. I grabbed a big jar and tried to get it in there, but it kept wiggling and I was afraid it was going to bite me. I told Sonja to leave it alone and I started to run inside to get the aquarium (mommy of the year award! lol). I heard Sonja yell for me, I turned around and it was latched onto her hand. She wasn't crying or anything, just concerned. I remember running to her and grabbing it to try to get it off, and that's when I woke up. Weird!!

Julie I saw the pics - looked awesome - of course I was like wow I wouldn't like to hold onto Bugsy on the way down LOL

I would rappel (kinda sorta have out west ages ago) but no way I would bungee jump. I have done hang gliding but wouldn't sky dive, shrugs not sure why I choose the ones I do and have no interest in the others

THE HEAT HAS BROKEN! First day in 10 days we aren't due to reach triple digits Big Smile Now if the humidity wasn't at 400% it would be pretty nice LOL I think I sweat more this morning on our jaunt then any of the super hot mornings

I'm a big chicken. I'd never rapel, bungee jump, hang glide, sky dive, or tangle with caterpillars w/snake's heads. This 2nd Amex statement is traumatic enough.

Edited spelling of rapel for Jackie's sake. Stick out tongue

The pics of the teams rapelling were so cool. It's rapel not repel. Sorry but this was bugging me to distraction. Feel free to correct all my many spelling and grammar mistakes. :)

OK here's a simple question; why do the various pharmacies offer money to swap your prescription to them? Currently Kroger and Walgreen's will give you a $25 card if you transfer your prescription. So whenever I need to refill I look around and see who is offering money to swap, some chain is always offering money. What in the world is in it for the store?

Lol jackie, thanks for the correction ;p I am a horrible speller and add to that I am usually posting from my phone where the mistake margin goes way up (not to mention proper punctuation, upper and lower case letters etc., it must drive the grammar police around here crazy haha.

Have you all seen that choose to adopt commercial with the beagle talking to the camera about how his onwer is the worst at hide n seek? Always hiding the toys in the same box in the same corner then acting all surprised when he pulls his toys out "i mean, you just hid them there yesterday!" It is way too cute.
