Karen....men!  I have one just like that and it just drives me crazy sometimes.

Same here!  All three of them must have been separated at birth.

Make that quadruplets - I got one over here too.

Thank you all for the condolences.  Yeah, my granny grandpa was something like 105 when he died in the 40's.  They have crazy, life forever genes.

Today is DRAGGGGGGINNNNNG by.  I am so ready for Lent to be over.  I am dying for a sub or something like that and all the non-meat choices here stink.  I guess it's a PB&J day again.

I've said it before but add mine into that group Super Angry

Got an email yesterday from the mortgage company asking for more documents, an appraisal on our house and some other things and I just wasn't in the mood to even deal with it. I emailed back and told them we weren't paying for an appraisal on our house when we don't even know if the offer has been accepted by the bank on the other house. They called me this morning and calmed me down and said our pkg actually looks really good so not to worry about anything else right now. He did say that short sales have been taking from 3 to 6 months, so it's a good thing we're not in a hurry.

When I got home last night, DH seemed really grumpy and when I asked him why, he broke down and said he didn't think we should've had Sassy cremated and that having her in a box just made him feel more sad. I reminded him that she isn't in the box, it's just something for us to remember her by. He's still having such a tough time and I'm only doing marginally better Sad

    Awww, that is so sad.

Tell him that she would have to be buried somewhere if you hadn't cremated her and this way you can ensure the physical presence that remains as her ashes is safe in your hands so you can bring her to your new home and find a special place for her if you want.

((hugs)) - I hate that part of grieving where you regret decisions. Sad

Awwww Cathy ((hugs)).   It was a tough day when we brought Shadow home but he used to love to lay in the entry way of our home in the sunny spot.  I now have his remains (in the box) sitting on a shelf in the same entry way with his picture and it gives me such a sense of peace to see it when I leave and when I come home.

Doctor's (well I see a nurse practitioner) visit was fun *rolls eyes*.  I agreed to allow a student in there to gain some experience lol.  I said as long as it wasn't an audience of 20 Stick out tongue  I'm hoping my test results show an infection, as that would be easy to fix.  Otherwise, I'll have to go to an OB/GYN for an ultrasound and further poking and prodding.  I feel kinda broken right now.  Overall, I'm fine but I've got some issues going on and I need answers.

Yes - that's what I did tell him. She will live on in our hearts forever.

By the time we'd gotten Buffy's ashes back in December, it was getting cold and we decided to wait until spring to bury them. Now we'll take them both to the new house (assuming we get it) and I've already ordered a stepping stone just like Buffy's. Still hard to believe that we lost them both in such a short span of time. Buffy's ashes came in a nice metal box with nothing on it but Sassy's came in a beautiful wooden box with a small plaque with her name on the front. Very nice but still sad.

{{{Cathy}}} I know bringing those ashes home is really gut wrenching, but I have to think it's easier than dealing with a burial. You can always bury the ashes at some later time.  BTW, it aggravates me no end to have to pay $$$ for an appraisal when any competent realtor will be happy to do that free. Usually the banks send someone from out of town who is totally clueless as to the rates in a particular area.

It started out as a pretty nice day,  but now it's all dark and cloudy and the weather report said we're in for a cold, wet weekend. I should probably just bite the bullet and do a Wally run now before it starts to rain.  I need some fresh mozzarella for a caprese salad and it's $4.95 a pound there, compared to $9 for 1/2 lb. at Safeway.

Am I the only one getting sick of "March Madness" and having all the CBS shows preempted for basketball?  Enough already! Confused

LOL! I didn't post anything here since it was a last minute interview ( I literally got the call yesterday). But it's for a p/t position at Canadian Tire. I'll make enough to pay for my dog habit and my car Big Smile
