Glenda, still thinking of you and your family and sending lots of love, thoughts and prayers your way!  SUPER HUGS!

We're in the middle of a small storm at them moment.  Calling for 5-10cm of snow (which has started) and expecting to turn over to freezing rain/ice and then eventually rain to top it off.  Oh the joy!

Happy hour???  I thought happy hour for old broads club members consisted of various flavors of Jello?  I'm so confused!

Alright, gotta get some things done and then do a double workout...cause I cheated yesterday and cut it short due to a stress headache.

Hugs for those who wants them.   (free)

    It does.

3 boxes (3 oz. each) Jello containing sugar
    2-1/2 cups vodka
    3-1/3 cups water
Bring the water to a boil and remove from heat. Slowly stir in the Jello until dissolved. Wait 3 minutes, then stir in the vodka.

Pour into individual shot-size cups and freeze.

ROTF....when I read the "Jello" comment the first thing that popped in my mind was JELLO SHOTS!

I will take one of those Java drinks with a Jello shot back :)

((Glenda)) thinking about you and your family.

The "old dogs" here are learning some new tricks today.  I find it exciting to learn somethin new, I also find that it takes a tad bit longer for it to soak in than it used to.

Maybe if I drink, I'll feel better. I blame my immune system for being lazy. If I had a fever, I would be more miserable, but at least I would know it was trying. Right now, it's like it doesn't even care. I'm debating whether to havemy cracker barrel or Chinese left overs for lunch, but I guess that depends on whether the cracker barrel stuff was even brought in.

Cathy, I do the non-computer version of this on a regular basis.  I get up from my desk to do something, and about 10 steps out of my office, I stop in my tracks.  My co-worker then says, "Did you forget why you got up?"  I say yes, then go back to my desk.  In a minute or two, I remember what I was going to do.  I'd blame it on middle age, but I've been doing that type of thing for years.  It's so annoying!

Glenda, I'm glad to hear you arrived safely and that you're feeling supported by Mike's circle there.  When someone passes, the people left behind help show just how special that person was.  Not that you didn't realize that about Mike anyway, but I hope you know what I mean.  All the friends and family who love and miss him are a testament to his life.

I think it was Bill Cosby who had a joke about this.  He said you brain is actually not located in your head, its in your butt.  And when you stand up it releases the memory button and that's why you forget until you go back and sit down.

I am soooo thankful our health insurance company has folks that speak English well, etc.  It doesn't mean they help much when I have any weird charges, but at least I can understand them LOL.  I've had some weird things get declined and then I have to appeal and it's all messy.

hahahahaha Steph! I'll be walking around holding my butt all the time now.

Going on 30 minutes... on hold... sounds like it was declined in error and is getting re-processed.

I did not want to go see the car with the ex, but Ryan wanted to go so I did too. Thankfully the officer wasn't available. I've seen the photo's and that was enough. Then he insisted on seeing the accident scene, and altho that was very painful for me, at least I can visualize exactly what happened and I know there wasn't time for more than a fraction of an instant of awareness and fear. That's comforting.

Hugs, Glenda...although doing these things is hard, having the answers to your questions makes it easier to deal with in the long run.  Questions that are never answered would continue to haunt you.  Our prayers are with you...
