What a happy way to celebrate this holiday season and start the New Year!

I had a sneaky feeling that Kate might be the potential adopter after Xebby hinted at a surprise ---- I remember Kate's very enthusiastic post in the thread that introduced Mimosa to everyone. I'm so glad that my suspicions were right. This is really great news --- for Kate, Mimosa, Sinbad, and for all of us who get to share in the happy story!

I know first hand that adopting a dog is great, not only for the dog, but also for it's "new parents.". Congrats.

Hi, dis Sinbad. Da mama sez I gets to type first...I helps her type a lot by putting my nose on the 'puter when she'z wurkin. She's sez dats not helpful. Ha! Guess what!!! I'z gettin' a sister! I just got an email from Amanda--Mimosa got cleared by the vet to come home!! Her cough is all cleared up and she's in great shape. Yeah!! So, right after Christmas, I'll go get her, and I'll get to meet Amanda and GeorgAnne. (Mimosa got our scent box today.) Yippee!!
