Thanks guys. I'm REALLY excited about getting Miss Molly. She is sooooooooo sweet. Part of me is thinking that she may be a failure already but I promised DH that we'd try to find her a suitable home for her.
Here's her story...Her owner is very narcissistic. She only is interested in herself & what makes her look good. Molly has issues that this woman will not deal with. She wants an instant perfect dog like her other dog. Being a Spaniel, Molly is a bit on the energetic side. This lady will not walk her or train her in any way. She just doesn't have time. She DOES have time to take her Bichon to be fluffed every month yet will not groom Molly or take her to the vet. The Bichon seems content with this situation but Molly is miserable.
I just can't WAIT to get my hands on her to show her the love that she deserves & help her with her confidence. The Little work that I have done with her, she just laps it up. The phrase "good girl" just seems to do so much for her. You can see her say, "yeah, I AM a good girl, what more can we do? This is great!"
Her owner can't make up her mind about when she wants to turn her over to me. First I was to get Molly on Wednesday (the day I normally clean her house), after talking to J she's worried about how the Bichon will be after Molly is gone & wants to wait until after she goes away @ the end of the month. Actually, this might be better for me. It came up so suddenly & I'm so not ready for another dog. I have some rearranging to do in my house to make space for her. Hmmmmmmmmm, how many dogs can a 750 sq ft house hold? ~LOL~
