We're in the countdown.  For those in the NE will cut some slack due to power outages, but everyone else, it's now or never!  Midnite tomorrow nite is the end of the line.

Not too many signed up for the single dog swap...I'm going to make an executive decision and leave it open until Friday night :) I'll be making swaps and sending emails on Saturday!

I agree Meg.  I think that everyone in the NE will be back on by then.

Just to be picky....There are still people not even a mile from me that are without power.  There are still roads closed due to downed trees & power lines as well. This is crazy.

OK, I can't speak for Meg, but I'm willing to wait longer.  What do you think of maybe 48 hours after all the power is restored?  Is that enough time?  After all, folks have had several weeks to sign up, but I do know that some wait until the last minute.

I think waiting is a great idea.  I remember when we were out of electric for 2 weeks a while back, it is very wearing on the brain and the body.  I hope the electric gets back on soon for all that are needing it :)

OK.  Today is the absolute deadline for anyone NOT hit with a power outage since last Saturday  I know of no other natural disasters to be concerned about, but if I'm wrong, let me know.

I AM going to do a couple of assignments this weekend because of the sheer distance involved for shipping.  The rest will wait a few days until everyone has power restored and a chance to catch their breath.  I'm sure that the very first thing folks will want to do is NOT get online.

I'm fine with it.  I may shop early but not for stuff like this.

I'd appreciate it if those who are close to affected areas would let me know what's up in their areas.

I've been off visiting BF, so have been safe and sound and with all the electricity a girl could want, but news from people back there make it sound like it's still awfully rough. So, if there are delays from people in CT and NJ, I wouldn't be surprised.

Thank you.  This is the sort of thing I'll depend on to determine when to close things down. 

I think NJ is just about all good. Last people near me without power got it back last night.

I got it back Thursday.... ahhh LIGHTS!!
