Has your dog been exposed to ticks during the past year? Lyme Disease and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever can have neurological symptoms, especially if it has gone chronic. The simple IDEX test doesn't test for RMSF. I'm part of a bird dog rescue group and many (actually most) of the hunting dogs we get in have chronic tick related diseases and have twitching, locomotive problems, and behavior problems all stemming from tick exposure. Ticks are the dirty needles of nature-yuck.
