My heart breaks for you . . . it's never easy to realize your time with a beloved dog is coming to an end, but the fact that she's been with you such a short time is so unfair. But, if this was to be her life's path, then the silver lining is that she found her home with you and your husband. She has been showered with love and affection all her life, and in the time when her need is greatest, she will have the benefit of your loving care for every possible moment, instead of being in a neglectful home or being alone somewhere.

You all are in my thoughts, and I'm wishing you peaceful and strong vibes. Give Bonnie some gentle ear rubs from me.

Brought her home late Wed. afternoon, she is fair, so far so good, no throwing up and she seems to be eating pretty good, hope this buys us a little more time. Thanks all so nice to have friends like you.

I hope she does well - probably she feels better at home with you. When my dogs have had appetite problems, one thing that has been successful is mixing a tiny bit of green tripe in with their food. They either love it or hate it, but the ones who love it will eat that when they won't eat anything else. Also, there's a high calorie supplement called Dyne that you may want to try if your vet's ok with it.
