Sad news today - Bonnie Blue

Dr. called today and after the testing, she is suffering from renal failure, how long we will have her we do not know, just a day at a time now. She is still eating with a little help from me. Still drinking but not as much as she did. I'm picking up meds for her tomorrow. There is still one test to come back something about bacteria. So much for me to understand. Dr. said her kidneys did not develop right I guess from the time she was born. Say prayers that I will have her for a little while. He said could be two months or two years. I'm hoping for the latter. thanks all that said prayers for her means a lot to me.

Oh man, I'm so sorry the news wasn't better. I will keep you and Bonnie Blue in my thoughts and prayers that you have many wonderful days left together. (((HUGS)))

Oh no I am sooo sorry!

Poor sweet Bonnie Blue and so many hugs to you!

We will have her in our prayers that she lives longer and is healthier than they project

I am so sorry that you received these results. Many prayers and good vibes that you are able to have more time to make good memories with Bonnie Blue.

Auburn I am so very sorry to hear this. I too hope for the longer time period for you and your family to enjoy your Bonnie Blue.

I want to be sensitive and I don't want you to be upset at me but, if you can bring yourself to do so..please let your breeder know. I know it would mean so much to have a buyer share this with me. It would help me to make better decisions...and we could share our feelings of disappointment and sadness, too. Breeders and owners can cry together and get strength from one another sometimes, too.

Oh, Auburn, I'm so sorry you didn't get better news. Lots of love to you and little Bonnie. I hope she's happy and comfortable, for the rest of her days. I know she couldn't be ANY more loved.

I'm so, so sorry to hear this Auburn. Too many of us understand first hand what you're going through. I'll pray that you have a bit more time with your precious baby girl, although no amount of time ever seems enough.

Sorry the news was not better. I hope whatever time Bonnie Blue has is comfortable and you can continue to enjoy her. Maybe she will surprise everyone and beat all expectations. It happens. Hugs for you and your family. And of course, Bonnie too.
