Momma's, Daddy's or Kid's dog?

    Momma's, Daddy's or Kid's dog?

Who is your dog's favorite person?  Who does he follow around and want to be with all the time?  Who does he listen to the most?

Harley, loves his family but he is definately Momma's boy.  He follows me around like my shadow and if I am sitting somewhere or change rooms he follows and curls up at my feet.  He also listen's to Mom the most. LOL!

Joey is everybodys dog! I swear and I am not sure if it's good or bad but he LOVES everybody! You could walk into our house and Joey will happily carry his toys or bones over to share them with you!
Just yesterday at the dog park the owner of another pup there sat down in the grass to relax, Joey came right over and flopped down in her lap for a break.

Aside from that I think he "loves" us equally. He's a lazy butt so he'll flop down at the feet of whoever is sitting down first [:D]

Chico is definatly a daddy's boy. He was working at home for a while, so he got to be with Chico all day! Chico also likes to lick his watch!

Willow is all mine, she does all of the things the OP mentioned and also on a walk with DH last night she heard my car from about a 1/2 block away and started pulling for home.  [:)]

[:)] ALL the Beagles belong to me. Lily my daughter would be a close second. I am pretty much Momma to the pups and Nonnie doesn't like men so she's mine as well. Now BUCKWHEAT the mix here is my husband's dog. She will have  ago at me if I try to do anything with her as far as grooming/bathing/medicating...but hubby can do anything with her [:)]

As fas as listening they listen rarely...but more often to me...lol! The Beagles selective hearing is LEGEND!

Riley is definitely a Momma's boy 100%.  If I go inside for a minute while he's out - he pulls to come in with me.  The whole family could be outside, but my shadow goes where I go - even to the bathroom LOL.

    Hagrid- mama's boy
Samantha- daddy's girl, at least, that's what HE thinks!
Porter- just got him 3 weeks ago, so it's too soon to tell. But I think he'll be a mama's boy too![;)]

I'm also the undisputed pack leader in my house. The BF is too much of a softie, I keep telling him he's going to end up the Omega![:D]

Tasha and Kota definitely follow me around.  Pepper will go to whoever and Shadow is a beagle mix and doesn't seem to favor either one of us.

A lot of the time, Max will follow anyone who is leaving him, and get excited about any female who comes because he believes they're coming to pet him (not that I tell him that or anything). However, I have been told he cries when I leave him. If I leave him in the car with someone, he cries for me. But, he doesn't do that if I stay with him and the other person goes.

Millie is 100% my mom's dog, to the point where she will not go to the bathroom unless she is completely desperate for anyone but my mom. She is stubborn about going in the first place, but she is extra stubborn if it's anyone but my mom holding the leash.

Its hard to say....Cookie follows me around and stays with me, even when I'm in the bathroom.... but that's the nature of her breed, because she's part Aussie Cattle Dog. But yet, when daddy's around, she's a perfect lil angel and never does anything to step out of line. Always perfectly behaved, So I don't really know....

Roscoe is definitely a mama's boy, but he loves his daddy, too.  If we're walking and he hears DH's car, he'll start pulling to run to the car.  But I'm the one he runs to if it's a choice between us.  Bella's my little shadow already.  I think it definitely has something to do with the fact that I'm the one who feeds the two of them.  We split cat-feeding chores, and Scout is a daddy's girl through and through.  In fact, she'll jump out of my lap to go run and jump in his, even if he's standing up! LOL (picture a grown cat hanging from the front of a man's jeans, meowing to be picked up)

I live alone, it's just Sofia and me.

However she has her special people that she greets, namely the boyfiend, whom she is totally NUTS over. He's the only person in the whole world she'll jump up on! She also likes my landlord upstairs a lot and will flop on her belly for a tummy rub after a quick wiggle-greet. She's getting to enjoy my students and greet some of them (the ones who have been around consistently for over a year). [:D]

Herhsey and Daisy are all Mommy's. Hey who feeds them and takes care of them the majority of the time? Hello!!! When I go to bed at night, if my husband is still up, they come up to bed with me. But if I'm not hear, anyone will do. But I have to say that their Daddy is their playmate. They get excited when he comes home from work because they know it's play time! But really they're all mine!!! Just the way I like it.

It's funny (or not) that Slick started out a COMPLETE Mama's Boy.  He followed me everywhere, only listened to me, etc.. But in the past month or so, he's COMPLETELY become a Daddy's Boy.   And, I still am the one who feeds him :(  It actually drives me nuts because I'm the one that did all of the training.  BUT his Daddy has somehow trained him to understand his very confusing gibberish.  Example - "Slick go get your toy,  the squishy blue one that we played with yesterday,  I think it's in the kitchen, or the bathroom - DON'T bring the one that smells like cheese."  So, Slick goes accross the apartment to the BEDROOM (cause he knew Daddy was wrong) and gets the exact toy and brings it to him.   I swear this kind of craziness can go on for hours.  Just bizarre things that come out of DH's mouth, than I don't even understand, Slick understands perfectly.     He still comes to me for all the lovin though!  :)

Grady & Aspen are mama's boys & there's no doubt about it.  They get excited when DH comes home but they are my shadows.  I usually go to bed first & they follow me for some pre-crate snuggle time.
