Which I-Dogs Are your Favorites?

Aw thanks everyone!

I'm fairly new here, but a few dogs stand out to me (I really don't mean to leave anyone out... I love everyone's doggies!)

Xerxes and Gaia. I love how naked they look, with their short coat and their liver noses. Very neat. I just want to touch them!
Ogre. He's so striking. And he looks so smooshable! I love him!
Rupert. Again, the coat and the liver nose. I love that look!
Talus. Okay, so I love liver noses!
And that Eskie wearing the Santa suit with the flood pants. Whoever that was... That was the cutest thing I've ever seen! []

How hard of a question is that?

At the Pharaoh Hound household we love all the dogs.  But some of the faves are:

Talus-I just want to get a big ol' Dogue drooly kiss!
Rupert-ok, we have a soft spot for pink noses.
JJ and Pru
Marlowe and Conrad (and every other hound)
Roxie
Wyatt and Kaiser (and all the multi-dog households)
Willow Chow
Lizzie Collie
All the huskies, all the GSDs, all the Pitties, all the Collies, all Elkhounds, Akitas, Shih Tzus, Pekes, Paps, Terriers, Retrievers, Herders, Working Dogs, Setters, Dals, Danes, Dobies and every other dog on Idog.

I think most of all I am so happy that these dogs have good homes and loving humans around them.  I love all the rescues because they have found new homes, all the puppies because their lives are just beginning, all the seniors because it's time for them to rest easy.  I really love that this place is here so I can gush on and on about my two heathen dogs and no one gives me a hard time about it.

I love seeing and hearing about all the dogs here! But I must say, Janice, you take some of the greatest pictures - you always seem to catch Rupert at just the perfect moment to show off his goofy handsomeness. And then you always fix the pictures up so nicely, like your avatar and your sig.

I also think seeing pictures of sled doggies and herding doggies is a special treat, as I've never seen any "in action" before. I'd also never seen or heard of a pharoah hound before "meeting" Gaia and Xerxes. Of course I have special fondness for papillons and Shelties, but I'm also in awe of all the long-haired fluffballs that look so nicely groomed in their pictures. (Like Sally, you must spend hours and hours grooming Trudy!)

But mostly I love seeing the happy expressions on the dogs' and people's faces. I love seeing how happy and healthy they look, whether it's beagles playing with little kids or pit bulls grinning after a long walk. Warm fuzzies all over!

There's somethin about Gizmo, Molly, Gingerbread, Xerxes, Shadow, Trudy and Willow and Ihearthuskybutts hukies...they are beautiful! but there are so many others that it is hard to choose.

Wow!  Willow's gotten so many mentions.  Thank you all.  She doesn't have many real life friends so this is a big deal to me--and her.  []

By no means a complete list (not to mention I'm horrible w/ names) but ones that I thought were most striking/interesting:

Sky? I'm not sure what his name was, but he's a blue-eyed and spotted Husky-looking mutt.
Dakota? Eskie w/ lots of beautiful pics.
Rupert b/c he's very photogenic & holds pose well.
Slick b/c I "watched" him from puppyhood to a grown young man.
Grady, Roscoe, Brown & Grey b/c of their personalities in all the pics I've seen.
Tojo b/c he was the cutest pup ever.
Souffle b/c she is very expressive and does the best "head cock."

Gees,,I have no idea how I found this thread...I just happened on it.  I can't even believe that I missed it...it started so long ago.

But I wanted to say that I really don't think that Bubblegum and I could possibly pick out favorites of our doggies here on our forum..they are all so cute, handsome, or special in their own way!

 

But Bubblegum and I want to thank all those that mentioned her! We DO appreciate it!
