glenmar Yes, end of November, and sooner if you can. Strongly suggest priority with delivery confirmation, or UPS with tracking. Remember, we had problems last year and things got pretty tight getting everyone covered in time for the big day.

Just wanted to second this. I ship things all the time (for my leather collars) and I cannot stress enough how important the delivery confirmation is. It's like, $0.70, not that expensive. If you DON'T get it, it just makes everything that much harder if your package doesn't get where it's going. If you go to the post office and complain but don't have a tracking number, you really don't even have a chance.

We have a lot of fun with this, and everyone is welcome once they've been here a little bit. Be sure to look for sign up next year. I'll probably do it the tail end of August or early September, and it'll be in General Chat and stickied at the top of the section so easy to find.

Okay guys, I was thinking...Maybe I'd make some home made dog biscuits to give to my ss receiver, think it's a good idea or bad idea? It wouldn't take too long to ship it from where I live. This is of course on top of toys and such.

Homemade is usually appreciated. If your partner is like G then I can say that almost nothing edible is declined. :)

If you are sending homemade goodies, double wrap in foil and then double bag. Those post office people tend to "misplace" boxes that smell strongly of food items. Have had that happen with liver treats many times!

That's a great idea, Andrea. Tina sent me some yummy, homemade human Christmas cookies one year. Er... not made out of humans... for humans.

Really? Well that sucks. :-/ Mine will probably be apple cinammon so I don't think it'll smell as strong as that. Thanks guys!

Oh, and to my recipient, everything is new in the box, I swear. I just had to take off packaging to make it all fit into the box I put it in...
