Ditto!  You'll definitely have to post the Halloween piccies.  Glenda, I'm sorry your day got off to such a crappy start, but I'm hoping everyone was right about the combination of close quarters, heat and DS who might not be all that patient with them. They really do pick up on moods and most likely hate yelling.

I was listening to the 4:00 news and they reported that another (small) rig exploded in the gulf.  This one is in shallower water, so hopefully it's not spewing oil and if it is, clean-up should be easier.  Geez.  Haven't the people in that area had enough to deal with already?

 Earlier today, the dumb klutz that I am, I feel up the stairs. Yes, UP. Not down. Both my legs are bruised, and my right leg is pretty good and swollen. I finally got a chance now to ice it, so hopefully I don't wake up with it worse tomorrow.

Glenda, I hope that everyone has settled down, & that they are on their best behavior from here on out.

I've had a very lousy day. It's not even worth elaborating.

I have been so tired all week. Getting up early and going to work is not easy when I don't get to bed until about 10-10:30 (Sonja stays up late), and I'm up a couple times/night with one kid or the other. 

I mentioned before that I haven't had to wear my casual/dressy clothes for a couple of years. So today I'm walking around at work, and my left shoe feels funny. I look down and the whole outer side of the shoe has come completely apart! The side separated from the sole. After a couple of hours, the right shoe did the same thing. The glue must have dried up or something. I was so embarrassed. I just hope nobody noticed. They went right in the garbage as soon as I got home. And yes, it was raining all day today.

DH has a big, all-day meeting on Wednesday.

I'm alive.  I have some thoughts on the drive, but for now I will just say "Hey, you drivers in Missouri.... You've got NOTHING to worry about if you want to drive on the NJ Turnpike.... you drive like you're on it already."  Whew!  Talk about aggressive driving, slaloming through the lanes... shoot, drifting right into my lane.  Sure!  You're def ready for the NJ Turnpike.

Meanwhile, if google maps ever sends you off of I-70 onto PA 31, don't do it... unless you have a fast car with good brakes.  MOUNTAIN ROADS, up and down, up and down, up and down (14%+ grade)... I felt bad for some of the peeps behind me but it was just not safe to pull the truck over onto the soft shoulder most of the time.  NEVER again..

Anyway, a shower awaits.  Will have to catch up on the last few days in, well, a few days.  I have no idea what the heck is going on w/the hurricane potentially hitting New England???  I guess that surfing after the wedding on Sunday is no longer on the schedule.... but now I have to worry if I should hit the road early, or wait here another day...Can anyone fill me in?
