Thanks everyone for all the vibes and good thoughtsSmile

I actually surprised myself majorly with this surgery...I never cried once. I actually joked around with the nurses and doctors this time around before they put my out lol. Anywho, the surgery went well, there were a few things I wasn't expecting, like they paralyze you for this surgery. So that freaked me out a little, but they explained its so stuff doesn't move around when they have the scopes in. After surgery my doctor left a note for me. He said everything looked good, but that they found a small area of endometriosis and removed it. I get to see my specialist again on the 16th of August to find out what happens from here.

Otherwise, Im in a heck of alot of pain. I don't know if its normal or maybe worse because they removed stuff, yesterday I couldn't move and I slept til like 9:30pm, woke up briefly to update my family on facebook, then passed out again. My right lung hurts alot too, I can't take deep breaths without a poping sharp pain. But I was told any leftover gas they put in my stomach could cause pain. So who knows. I'm just laying in bed with my laptop, hopped up on ibuprophen and extra strength tylenol. I'm going to fall back to sleep, but I just wanted to let you gus know Im okay and my surgery went well. Thanks again everyone for the support. Goodnight Smile

Glad to read things went well for you!  You were SO brave!!

Glad you're doing ok! Post-surgery gas is the worst. It can cause pain to radiate in odd places - I had extreme shoulder pain after my c-section. I hope it "passes" quickly! LOL Stick out tongue

Glad it went well, I also had bad gas pain after my c section, radiating to my left shoulder. Soo uncomfortable and there wasn't much that stopped it except for time for my body to just work it out.

    Feel better!

I'm glad to see a post from you too and relieved that the surgery went well. Didn't they give you any pain meds? If so, don't be a hero. If they didn't and you're still in a lot of pain, you might want to give your dr. a call and ask for some. I hope you feel better soon.

Yeah, get the drugs, silly! Feel better ASAP :)

Sorry I didn't see this sooner, but I'm so glad everything went so well for you!  Hope you're feeling better today!

I'm so glad to hear from you and equally glad to hear our proceedure was uneventful.  I'm pretty sure the pre-surgical drugs they gave you took the edge off any anxiety you may have been feeling.  I definitely agree with whoever said do NOT be a hero.  Call your dr and get drugs.  Pain can hinder your healing.

I hope that Sky & Rickards are being good little nurses for you.
