Mindless Finally Friday!! (really its Thursday)

Thank you everyone!!  I'm praying as hard as I can!

So if anyone reads the news tomorrow - and hears about a strawberry-blonde girl going on a rampage in Clearwater - it is probably safe to assume it was me.

I dropped my phone off to have the screen fixed, I paid my bill and picked the phone up today. Only to find that it DID NOT WORK. I was BEYOND pissed - the guy got an earful, and then some. I told them I would be back tomorrow morning at 10, and IT BETTER FREAKING WORK. //rant.

So Maggie's still not thrilled about our foster girl, but she and Kes were playing like I've not seen them play before, so I'm guessing she's not too stressed.  

DH should be here tomorrow night - YAY!

Actually, it was more of a "squuaaaaa" than an "eep."

I suppose that I should be happy that, at least both dogs are very efficient killers, so they didn't feel the need to play with their food first.

So Vinia, I see that you're looking to move to the states.  What cities interest you?

I am eating trail mix, & sipping vodka.  Life is good.  At least until tomorrow morning....

Pocket caught a chicken once. Luckily she spat it out when I saw her and it was still alive and in good shape (minus a few feathers).  Anyway, I hope your neighbours weren't too attached to the chickens...

I'm moving to Portland, Oregon . I've been offered a job there so will be heading off in a few months/ as soon as the govt will let me in - unfortunately that means I don't really get to choose where I live haha. But I hear Portland's a fantastic city and I'm really looking forward to it.

I loooved San Diego and Chicago when I was able to visit there. I'd so move to San Diego in a heartbeat if I had the chance to (and lots of money).

I'm going to Texas at end of this month too!! Sooo excited.

Goooooooodd thoughts for Glenda & her DH on the job front!!!

My interview went well on my end - I felt like I was in control of the interview more than he was, though.  At 3pm, he still hadn't eaten lunch, and told me that was affecting his ability to form words.  I'm guessing that includes forming words into questions, because he never asked me any questions about myself (despite saying he might ask me the same ones I'd answered over the phone...), which was weird.  I asked appropriate questions and showed enthusiasm for the job, etc... He fleshed out the position, introduced me to the team... but apparently he's been doing interviews for 8 weeks.  So, I'm not holding my breath. :)
