That rules out anything over 100 pounds. On a normal day, I can carry a 100 pound, cooperative dog, or a 70 pound struggling dog. If the dog was mine, it'd learn to be carried. I've had to carry Emma lots of times, as she's accident prone. I decided to have this rule after I got her. I *really* want a "big" dog next (a standard poodle or doberman) and I sit and think about what if I can't move the dog, what if this, what if that.
