MC Friday, YAAY!

Me too!  Federal tax refund AND payday!!!  I'm rich!  For about 5 minutes.  All the automatic transfers and bill pays will kick in....then the refund is headed for the credit card company.  Oh well. 

Bowling tonight.  I'm a sub on the team but mostly I'm the ball b*tch for my partner.  Haul the bag...fetch beer...cheerleader...(jokes may commence).  I have Sat-Mon off........very much looking forward to it.

This week has dragged on!  I'm at work now, but after work Derek and I are making the trek (about a 2 hour drive) to see our friends in another city for the weekend :)  I have a buuuusy weekend this one!

Tonight we are going to their house and staying over, then Saturday evening she is having a pampered chef party, Saturday night we are staying over and Sunday driving straight to my friend's first baby shower for 12:30, then right afterwards, home, put laundry in and grocery shop.  GAH!

I'm happy with what I bought my friend for her baby, even though she told us we shouldn't get her anything, because we already gave them a few hundred dollars worth of gift cards for babys r'us.  But I will feel really awkward if I go to her baby shower(s) empty handed

I'm so excited that Kate is coming home for the weekend.  I really do miss her when she's gone - but sometimes can't wait for her to leave when she's here.

Jamison is so stinky with all the melting snow and mud that he's going to the groomers on Saturday for a complete overhaul.

This morning was NOT good!  Wed. night I forgot my BC pill, so last night I took them both (it says take two if you skip one).  This morning.....ugh!  I was so nauseous and puke-sick.  I've had this a few other times on BC, it must be a pseudo morning sickness or something like that.  Then I was late b/c I had to stumble out of the shower and lie down in bed until the puke went away.  I ate some saltines and someone gave me an oatmeal cookie so I'm starting to feel better.  I would have been better off just skipping that pill and remembering to abstain for a week!

Deb, it's funny, they pretty much ignore each other.  She is very tolerant of Harley, even pacing herself on walks so he can keep up with his stubby legs.  It's funny because she likes to stop and sniff, checks her pee-mail, and weiner schnitzel just walks (half runs) to keep up.  And all he wants to do is get back home because he's freezing!

All things considered, Agnes is doing alright, seems to have had a good week.  It's been a bit warmer and much of the snow is melting, so she is having an easier time getting around.  She's so sweet, I just can't believe someone left her like they did.

While walking Jamison yesterday, we were walking along a good pace - I'm not paying attention to what's going on when Jamison stopped dead in his tracks right in front of me and I almost went head over heals on top of him !!!  Goober dog.

We have had a gorgeous week of nothing but blue skis! I love the sun. I have been in a pretty fantastic mood all week :) hehe.

I watched a cool Nature of Things last night - it's the first one in a four part series "One Ocean" I learned about all sorts of ancient critters that I didn't know existed.

Yay for Friday, but dangit, I'm getting a cold.  ARGHHH!!!  I really hope I feel good enough to enjoy this weekend.  Its supposed to be sunny and in the 60s.

We moved into a new office this week.  Our nextdoor neighbors shoot commercials & music videos.  There's a big tricked out black Escalade parked out front of their suite this morning.  I was outside having a smoke and a guy got out of the car.  It was Nelly.  Very weird seeing a famous person at our little office park.

I need somebody to smack my a$$ with the 2x4 to get me moving this morning! 

I skipped my run this morning, & the dogs were not happy about it.  We had a huge wrestling match in the living room because everyone was still bouncing off the walls.  I'm not sure exactly what happened, but I walked out of the kitchen & found both Bev & Cher on the dining table.  I wasn't too happy with either of them..

The sun has been shining for 2 whole days...2..this is a record. And it is suppose to get up into the high 50's this weekend, in celebration, I am sending in my check for my garden plots and buying some seeds to start some bedding plants.

I have been craving salads....chicken salad, tuna salad, egg salad, crab salad, shrimp salad..........what is the deal with that? I caved and made tuna and egg, making chicken salad tonight when I get home. Yummy roasted chicken, with mayo, mustard, celery, grapes, walnuts and tomatoes...........................sigh.

I think my body is just craving different foods period.

 just got off the phone with Miss Jackie, she is really enjoying having her sister there and is getting lots of support from her fellow workers too!  She was overwhelmed to hear that people from here were coming together to fix her up with some stuff/services, etc. Really overwhelmed!  And the flow of cards is wonderful, she AND Charles just love them all!

Yea its sunny and supposed to get to 60 today and all weekend!  Maybe I can play in the dirt this weekend!  Whohoooo!  I am trying not to get too excited but they are saying in the 60's for the next 7 days!!!!!  The least I can do is cut the old winter stuff back in the flower beds. The boys will be happy to have Mommy home and outside!

Well Heather at least you might have a bit of excitement at the new office!

None of us here at the office can get motivated today, we all want to be outside!  I think a cattle prod would be more in order here!

It seems as though my furnace is on the fritz. My heat is set to 70 but the house is only warming to 65. The furnace comes on, blows warm air for a min or 2 the shuts off. The filter is new and clean. I haven't had the furnace serviced though since living here (3 yrs).

I have called around and it is $85 just for someone to come and diagnose the problem. Then who knows how much to fix anything. I hate getting ripped off and considering I know nothing about stuff like this, the possibility of getting ripped off is high.

So, do I have someone come out today or take a stab at installing a new thermostat myself guessing that may be it? I can live with 65 especially considering the temps are rising. However, it is friday. I would hate to have an emergency service call on the weekend. Help!
