Tina, I think we all have a pretty good idea how you feel.  Left Hug

Agreed... that one year is just so hard to swallow, tho.  Something about the seasons being so similar that it brings back even more sensations of the time when he crossed over.  I'm sorry.  HUGS HUGS HUGS.

Jan, today is a great day to have that baby.  March 2 birthdays are the best !Big Smile

Today is my mom's birthday, and tomorrow is my step-mom's birthday.  (Wait, ex-step-mom.  My bio father is a dirtbag - she's a great lady.)

Friend's crabby wife is complaining about her 7yr old's attitude, saying she "doesn't need her PMS".  Uh, really?  Nothing to do with her being a Little Person who has suddenly realized she doesn't want to be "different"?  Geez, woman.

Parents got their power back - YAY!  Friday to Monday w/out power & water is a lot better than when they were told it wouldn't be back on until Thursday.  Crews from as far away as PA and even New Brunswick, Canada came to help and worked 17hr shifts.  Here's a public THANK YOU to all those men and women who traveled away from their own families to help the people in New Hampshire!

PMS at 7? Man, I must've been a late bloomer. Mom sounds like a real nurturer. Hmm

    I'M LOOKING FOR MY GRANDSON

Oh yikes, that could be bad.... :D

Very sad about Maeya not turning up yet.  Fingers still crossed.

Woo Hoo Agnes!  6 months, Tina that is so awesome :D  (((hugs))) for you for Bear, I know its hard.  Its been just over a year for Mystic and every now and again it hits me really hard.

OMGG Bugsy, that must have been quite the hole.

Happy Birthday PP22! Hope its a great on.

I am so hungry, I hope last nights left overs are filling.  I don't have much hope.

I'm still unsure what to do about the whole Pooch thing, it just really sucks they won't give the woman my info and let her contact me.  And I think their reasoning is compete BS.

Saw Cop Out last night.  It was funny, but not really my kind of movie, I found some of the stuff annoying.

Inquiring minds want to know......did that spammer person actually individually pm ALL of us?  Or is there a way to do a group pm??

Finally caught up with my Mom.  Still waiting for DS to call back.  Almost 3 hours now......cell phone goes right to voicemail, and landline has been busy....but, he has call waiting.

Why do the mother worry glands go into overdrive so danged easily????

It's amazing what kinds of automated programs a spammer can develop to broadcast their crap.  There is no group PM feature inherent in this software.  Anybody want to visit some online casinos are buy cheap prescriptions, too?  Because we get tons of those types of crappy spammers trying to sign up every day.

Cathy - yep, to quote her directly..."Then comes down my 7 year old with the biggest attitude and a contradition to the answer I give for her fifty questions. Go back to bed then cause I don't need 7 year old pms........"  That is tame compared to her update about her mother-in-law a few hours later.  It takes a lot to think "live and let live, she's on her own journey" when children are involved.

I agree. We all know that just because someone can give birth doesn't mean they'll be a good mom. I hope her children manage to thrive inspite of her.

It makes me wonder, because I look at some adults now and can see how clearly they were messed up by their mothers, and I wonder if anyone told the mom back at the time she was doing such wretched things to her child's psyche?  I feel responsible to say something, but I'm not a parent, so double reason to tell me to go take a hike.  No parent wants criticism.  It's not like she has mothering role models - her own mom passed away years ago, she vehemently detests her MIL (which is actually understandable because that woman is poison).  I'm hoping she continues to take initiative to get counseling for her LP daughter.  It will hopefully help her treat her daughter and her son with more respect in the future.  At least they have my friend, the dad of her son and step-dad of her daughter.  He's a good guy with loads of love and caring and discipline who has some concepts about respect and setting boundaries.

I smacked a pot hole this morning and busted my tire. They've had the stupid thing now for about 4 hours. What the heck could be taking so long? Maybe they are manufacturing the tire.

I had my mom pick me up, then I had to go with her to meet her friends in McDonald's. Don't think I've ever spent 2 hours in McDonald's before, and never will I again.

PHEW!!  DS is fine.  He was chatting with his MIL for THREE hours!!  He, without the wife specifically, is having dinner tomorrow night with the inlaws, and MIL is making him lasagna.

HER family is backing him to the hilt and ready to kick her to the curb.  Even so, he's still in pain, and he's still trying to be "fair" and adult about their last few days.  He's hoping to be on the road Friday.

Enjoying my day off with the dogs. Aesop is enjoying his bone and Grimm is sequestered in his crate for trying to steal THAT bone rather than taking the other bone that was a mere foot away. He's doing the sad Grimm lip, even though he quite loves his crate. It looks like a teenager's room in there..he collects weird little things (wrappers from the trash, pieces of paper, etc) and sits them around in the crate. Doesn't eat them...just sits them there.  I think if he had thumbs he'd put posters on his walls. It's kind of quaint. :)

ROTFLMAO!!!!  We have the "if they had thumbs" conversation at our house all the time,

Rocky doesnt have a crate but he hoards stuff too.   He has a rug in the kitchen and when he was a puppy if we were missing something it could be found on the rug.  Now he gathers, lol, or steals, stuff from all over the neighborhood.  I have found tshirts, hats, shoes, hoodies, stuffed animals, etc in my yard.  I bring them in and wash them and try to figure out where they came from most the time they just go into the lost and found basket...oh yes, we have a lost & found basket for all his treasures.
