Congrats Agnes...so glad you are feeling better.  Yummy Pork chops!!!!

Glenda so glad you are there to help you son even if it is on the phone!  When they need you they need you...in person or not!

We are busy here this morning....supposed to be upper 40's today and maybe mid 50's by the weekend!!! Dare I say it....Spring is right around the corner!

Oh by the way...my sweet adorable "mud puppy" Rocky brought me a gift Saturday morning!  A very dead Armadillo!  Oh thank you little mud puppy!!!! LOL!  Then he came home Sunday morning, with mud all over his face, collar, ears, eyes, feet...well pretty much all over!  He was so happy that mommy was home and he loved on me and he smelled like pond and by the time we were done, we both smelled like pond!

Harley will get chicken & rice w/veggies - hardly abuse!  I doubt he'll complain since the shelter was giving him SD kibble and he wouldn't touch it.  I don't blame him.

At lunch we will be introducing him to liver treats.  I'm pretty sure these will make him want to stay.

I just got word that I am leaving for Bogota tonight.  Nice.

 I would like someone to put me out of my misery. I'm swamped in work and developing a nice headache that I'm hoping won't turn into a migraine. My heartburn is acting up as well. The headache and heartburn are absolutely stress related. I had a craptacular February in terms of work related stuff. Just in time for reviews this Thursday.

...back to work I go!

I hate Mondays because I get these awful feelings like I don't want to leave Gracie.  My sister flies in tonight, so no more freedom or car.

The natives have been prepped, & know what needs to be done while I'm away.

I will probably see the airport, hotel, & four factories that I'm supposed to tour tomorrow.  Then back home on Wednesday morning.  I did get to explore a little last time that I was there.  The country as a whole makes me nervous, so I'd prefer just get in & out as quickly as possible.

Argh stuff at DH's work is stressing me out!!!!! And this stuff may effect whether we move or not so it's also affecting the house stuff that's already driving me nuts.  I need some calm vibes for me and DH and some "be reasonable" vibes for his superiors please!

Oye.... that's not good.  Changes in job situation/stability around the time you close on a house is a bad thing.  Hope all works out and that his superiors are cognizant of the impact they could be having on his future.

Agnes & Tina - congrats on 6 months!  Hmm, Jan has been very quiet today...

I need to "unfriend" my friend's wife.  She's incredibly negative.  Complains every single day with such venom.  Yes, you're power/water are still out since the wind storms in NH last week.  But you have a generator and places to go stay.  My parents have neither and my dad uses a C-pak at night which he had hooked up to their boat battery until that died in the middle of the night.  They've been told they won't get power back until Thursday, whereas she's sitting there with more than one generator.  I just want to shake her because every.single.day is a horrific tragedy of some attack on her right to live and she lets the f-bombs fly over the dumbest stuff.  I have to be careful, though, for my friend's sake because she will not take kindly to this and he's already had to deal with her jealousy over his female friends.  Ugh.  I could not live with that level of crazy nastiness.

I'm sending good vibes your way and to your DH's superiors. I can't imagine how stressful it all must be when you're trying to plan out the future and there's so much uncertainty. I hope things settle down soon and you can move forward with the house hunt.

You'd think with having an extra day off, I'd have nothing to do today but I had to do big grocery shopping, changed the sheets on the bed, I'm doing the 2nd load of laundry and I've just made some stuff for dinners this week. I really wanted to go to Home Goods but I'm kind running out of the mood for shopping.

This is a red-letter day.  I ... (looking around to not get caught) .... TOOK THE DAY OFF!!!

wooooooooooooo hooooooooooooooo -- I haven't done this literally in years (to just take the day "off" for ME to rest up!!)  Slept in late (this whole weekend was so busy I knew I'd need a day to recouperate!)

 Luna wants to go outside and bark.  But she tried to have a barkfest *and* not come in for me this morning so she got in trubble, and the pug is still looking at me cross-eyed and scowly because I dared to  tell Ms. Tunes off a bit.
