Wow, that's fantastic news, Karen!! Go B go!!!

    • Gold Top Dog
Ha! I was going to say that his special treat should be a days worth of mole hunting, but I guess he is already doing that!

    YAY Bugsy!! Big Smile

You do know this means that we expect lots and lots of Bugsy zoooming pics now, right?

    • Gold Top Dog

Wow, that 16 weeks went by really fast Wink. I'm so glad that you both survived it and look forward to the more funny stories about Bugsy's antics.

    • Gold Top Dog
That's great! Congrats to you both!

Karen I am delighted to hear your good news.

I think you need a title, like Wonder Woman or sumthin..I mean you did survive 16 weeks with a loaded gun...erm I mean pistol of a dog. Your devotion to his health and recovery should be commended.

I advise Vodka. Where is Deb with the Grey Goose?

    You are sooooooooooo funny LOL

Julie I could earn some decent cash if I could teach him to mole hunt on command - any ideas? You always have some creative training ideas!

Seriously Dawn plenty of alcohol has been consumed in the process Drinks And um yea he was a donkey on the edge - I cannot wait to let him have a play date.  JOY!

I don't know. I'd be naming it as he is doing it then thow a party when he gets it :p that is what I've done with abbie. I'm seriously considering advertising her mouse hunting/locating abilities. She is always right on the money and now knows "abbie, where's the mouser?" :) the only problem is that she started giving me her "there's a mouse in there" behavior toward my shower drain yesterday. Eeekk! There better not be a moucer in my home. I will freak. They can live in the garage all they want (assuming they evade abbie and lily + a few mouse traps) but they can not live in my house. Ick. I will need to have her check the basement this weekend. Dogs can be trained to do such useful things!

The only way he gives up the mole now is if I give him his emu foot or a knuckle bone in exchange, sigh, because I was so pleased that he caught them in our yard and I wanted to reward him.  Problem is now he goes moling regularly in the hopes of getting his reward.  They are so smart!

He has given us cause for concern several times, the worst was when he went into full point at an internal wall. Tongue Tied he was there for ages and when I finally got him away from there he went back a little later and was pointing at a different place on the same wall. Yuck!

That just freaks me out! You know that they can hear those little buggers high frequency squeaks and we can't. If the dog goes on point like that I'd be trusting there was a reason lol *creepy!*

about a year later we discovered we had some bats in the eaves - my guess that is what he was pointing at Surprise

Sooo happy for Bugsy and you. Right in time for the good spring weather too. He'll be able to maul all the moles he wants and to go back to his geese patrol. Yay !!!
