    Neat!  I had a mantis invade my house in Georgia. I say invade because he chased me all around inside my own house LOL.  I'm not sure if you can handle them- do they bite?

    Zorak was wild caught and she never bit or really even struck at me...I miss her *sniffle*

    Well like all critters with mouths they have the potential to bite, but out of all the ones I handled, including several wild caught adults I've never once been bitten or even had a mantis try to bite or lash out at me.  That is one of the things that originally drew me into them.  I still find it amazing how such a primitive and instinct based insect can be so confident and even drawn to human interaction.

     

     

     

    @ Rwbeagles- I think it is just about time for someone to look into getting another six legged companion! Wink
