First Mindless Chatter of 2010

I'm sorry about your friend, Paige.  And, yours too, Callie. 

My first morning of the new year started with a swift paw to the face and a smiling chow ready to "go".  So, off we went to the trail for a hike!  I'm so happy to say that Willow did the entire 1.2 mile trail with no signs of getting tired.  She had three or four major zooms that started crossing into some play aggression so I had to put an end to that.  But, she was in her glory with all the snow on the trails. 

Oh darn.  I'm sorry Paige. Will keep his family in my prayers.

Gosh,went to the station to do my voice tracking and the morning guy showed up just minutes after I did.  He's about 10 miles from work, I'm .2.  So, of course I let him go first.  But, as we're chatting, he tells me run home and get DS and the two of them can rearrange the mountain of office furniture in "the pit".  So I supervised and we ended up putting a large desk with a hutch in front of the pit and you can barely see anything at all now.  Before, when you walked in the door you saw this precarious pile of stuff.....now it's lower, leaner and better organized.

Finally finished up about 8 with my stuff, and am still waiting for Mom to call.  Think I'm going to go ahead and call her, since I'm tired.  She should be too!

Have not heard from Sis since her email earlier that they are still waiting....so maybe/maybe not on the baby tonight.

I spent the evening quietly. The husband is doing a male bonding weekend with his buddies. One drove in from West Virginia and broke down and hour from our house, so he went and picked him up and then had to drive back and over one county which is another hour or 2.

He got lost in the wilds of western Kentucky, men! At least he stopped and asked for directions. I was a nervous wreck....back country roads+freezing temps+precip+new years eve=wife in anxious mode.

I have a bored pouting dog on my hands. I apparently do not throw the toys correctly, or hand out bedtimes mints with the right flare. Not to mention I am not a push over for pathetic doggy noises. OK, so I am, I shared my bologna sandwich with him to make up for it.

WhooHooo, I've been waiting to see it!

Just a little "Did you know" for ya'll.  Did you know that there is a Kamasutra app for your iphone?  I didn't, but apparently somebody found it & downloaded it last night.    I looked it up tonight, while I am sober, & let's just say that I'm glad that it was a free app.  They use models that look like Gumby for visuals.
